From the depths of darkness, a dragon soars.

A new dark fantasy Three Kingdoms action RPG from Team NINJA, the developers of Nioh.

184 AD, Later Han Dynasty China. The land is overcome by chaos and destruction. The imperial dynasty that prospered for many years is now about to collapse.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is a dramatic, action-packed story of a nameless militia soldier fighting for survival in a dark fantasy version of the Later Han Dynasty where demons plague the Three Kingdoms. Players fight off deadly creatures and enemy soldiers using swordplay based on the Chinese martial arts, attempting to overcome the odds by awakening the true power from within.

Wo Long refers to a crouching dragon, and also refers to a hero or person of greatness who is not yet known. This is the story of officers, who will later become heroes, during their ‘unknown’ period, and also the story of a protagonist’s rise from being a ‘nobody’.

A dark fantasy set during the chaotic Three Kingdoms period, the narrative vividly tells the tale of a militia soldier’s strenuous fight for survival during a Later Han Dynasty infested with demons. It’s madness in the Three Kingdoms like never before!

Defeat deadly enemies to boost morale and awaken the power from within! Overcome adversity through unique new strategies, including battle styles based on the “Five Phases”.

Renowned for ruthless strikes that can change the tide of battle in an instant, sword practitioners of the Chinese martial arts gracefully change pace as they shift between offensive and defensive maneuvers. Overwhelm opponents with a flurry of force in a series of intense and bloody battles while learning the precision and skill necessary to become a true master of the sword.

Choose from a wide variety of weapons, from glaives to dual swords, to discover which fits your fighting style.

This secret art draws upon the power of the Five Phases, which allow for attacks using such elements as flames and ice. Upon achieving higher Morale Ranks, you can gain the ability to utilize even more powerful Wizardry Spells.

Divine Beasts like Zhuque and Baihu are brought forth through alliances with other warriors. By calling upon these Divine Beasts, you are able to perform feats of great power.

  1. I'm trying to decide if the game is worth buying. Anyone that has good things to say about this one, I'm a long time Kings Field, demon souls, dark souls, bloodbourne, nioh 1 and 2, elden ring player, my favorite type of games to play (Didn't like Sekiro) I've heard Wo Long has a lot of flaws on the PC version. Any and all advice on if it is worth a buy would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

  2. Elden ring with the spirit summons, wo long with the reinforcements…sigh. Why are they going this route when whats awesome about these games are that youre alone against insurmountable odds?

  3. Don't sell weapons and armor directly. Instead salvage everything and sell Jewel Fragments — that will give you much more coppers. Which might be an oversight from Team Ninja, so use it until it's fixed.

  4. So my weight has nothing to do with all the items in my equipment? Weight only factors in what you have currently equipped? I only sell/breakdown my armor and weapons if I need resources?

  5. from playing this and watching the videos, this seems like a great way to get into nioh. I've tried nioh 2 and never finish ng because I get lost with how to actually make a build. but this game has the same assets but streamlined. I think imma jump back on nioh 2 after I finish wo long

  6. So is there anyway to swap around martial arts? Or have to try and farm the ones you want on a weapon. Like I know unique weapons typically have a unique martial art but the 2nd general one on them seems to be random.

  7. This has very little to do with builds, but I do wish they used a similar button layout for this as they did with nioh 2, R2 and up could change melee weapons, R2 and down would change range, and R2 and left or right could cycle through your multiple spell slots to let you use 12 or more spells. I find theres some useful ones in my trees, but sometimes I want a single target spell for the situation and other times an AOE. But then I have to ether tough it out or give up my utility spells that help keep me alive.

  8. Thanks for this guide 🤠. I never really played Nioh so I had no understanding of all this. I’m hoping it will help me progress in the game. Especially as I was about to call it a day. Thanks again 👍💩

  9. Can you help me understand the resistance in armour. See you have a fire build and the armour set has no resistance towards water (being your weakness) surely the fire set would want a high value in water and not fire like you've shown? Thanks

  10. Always salvage. You can sell the jewelry fragments from salvaged items for much more than you would make from selling the item flat, while also acquiring upgrade materials and new enchants if available.

  11. Do each weapon have different weapon damage? In nioh each Katana had different base damage and one type was just better and giving better base damage but here it feels like a 4-5 star weapon just needs the right martial art and the rest you can upgrade and imbed as you choose?

  12. the consumable enchants can you get them back if you equip it on weapon x, then try to remove it to use it on another weapon? or once used its gone and you gotta get another one?
