Hexproof is a keyword mechanic in Magic the Gathering that prevents opponents from targeting a permanent or player with spells or abilities. While a player may still target their own permanents that have hexproof, this ability essentially protects something from removal or other negative effects. While a permanent with hexproof can still be destroyed, exiled, or otherwise taken care of, the number of direct answers to cards with hexproof are naturally limited. And while some cards grant hexproof to other permanents or to the player, today we’ll be focusing on cards that have hexproof themselves.

Dungrove Elder is another very strong creature with hexproof that gets bigger the longer the game goes.

Along with Boggle and Scout goes Silhana Ledgewalker, even though it is 2 mana, it has upside in the form of evasion. I used to play 1 copy in boggles deck.

I've been using the Bogle as a Mutate target. Best 1 drop I could think of.
Blue should have never received hexproof. It should have stayed green while blue was stuck with shroud.
The fact that hexproof isn't the best ability is more about how powerful some things are than hexproof being weak.

It should be mentioned that you can bypass Lotus Field's sacrifice requirement by countering it by playing a card like Strict Proctor.
Troll ascetic is better than Thrun
Narset is still a kill on sight commander. Or rather an edict or wipe on sight, lol. She's just so unfun to play with and against in the casual side and not such a great option in cEDH anymore so….
Also, it may not be the worst idea to read the scripts to someone who actually plays MTG before you record it.
Paradise druid is pretty good too
fun fact: hexproof for a while was also given the name "troll shroud" during the time the keyword shroud (which made the thing untargetable by everyone) existed but not hexproof. The reason why it's called troll shroud is due to Troll Ascetic all the way back in classic mirroden. It was also given this name since historically in magic, most trolls had regenerate & were quite difficult to kill.

When MTGA was first released, Carnage Tyrant was such a huge problem for my mill deck that I had to run nightveil predator just to ensure I didn't instantly lose. Ironically, since nightveil predator also has flying and hexproof, it itself turned out to be an instant win against other decks.
I love the videos, but I feel like the "mispronouncing MtG cards" gag is getting to be a bit much. I noticed like 3 in this video and, personally, it's more distracting than funny.

Targetting protection (or effect immunity) in YGO often includes both players, which may be an interesting design choice and add flavour to cards but is sometimes bothersome as you need to keep track of what you yourself can do with your own monster.
Hexproofness is relievingly simple.
You really shouldn't count noncompetiive formats when you evaluate cards

I think it would be interesting if they did more cards with shroud and less with hexproof.
I think shroud is a more interesting ability in concept.
I wouldnt be suprised that the guy who voices all the channels is really just an AI voice pack and the real dude just shows up whenever hes doing something live
I don't think I would relegate Lotus Field to Rogue status after two players piloted it to Top 8 Pro Tour Phyrexia and is sitting at 6% of the total Pioneer on MTGTop8 and is still consider Tier-1 (ranking 6th) on mtgdeck.
Unrelated, but It's funny to me that because Hexproof wasn't a keyword at the time of its printing, vines of vastwood has one of the more unique can't be targeted effects. Vines of vastwood makes it so that its target can't be targeted by your opponents instead of the opponents of the target's controller.
