Bro I found the plane and looked it then a feral popped up i killed him and then like 5 more ferals showed had to kill them too then fcking cannibals kept popping up i got surrounded by like 10 cannibals tf they just kept spawning so I had to run away

I honestly regret attacking the ones that came near my settlement. My group of 7 friends started a world and we kept getting interrupted by cannibals while my other friends settlements weren’t getting attacked at all. It’s to the point now I can’t go more than 20 minutes without a raiding party coming to mess us up. It’s winter now and I’ve gone through more than 20 raids while my friends have dealt with just one. Pain.
What happens if you don't kill the cannibals…. Proceeds to kill cannibals.
Are the mutants and cannibals friends? Or they hate each other too?
I think a cool feature would be that if you hurt enough to have them begging you for mercy or kill one of the bigger scouts then that camp will be fearful enough of you to give you food or supplies.. I honestly don’t know how that’d work but I think it’d be kinda funny beating their asses and then you pull up on them and they just start chucking food at your feet so you’ll leave 🤣🤣

ok at 14:45 when they're limping and getting down what if you try to offer them meds? Would they take them? would they know what to do with them?

I try to never kill anyone because I'm not a heartless monster and they just want their land back. If you attack them they attack you because of course, and it makes sense that they attack you a little unprovoked because you are invading on their land.
I do feel like you should start afresh save as a pacifist. Just in case you're going off a previous save or where you left off with your last playthrough or video and you already killed people in the video so technically failed and should start over, but these are only suggestions.

But in all seriousness, in The Forest, they turn aggressive if you fight back. If they attack you, you're meant to retreat and stay passive. Eventually they'll sit with you and will only attack you very rarely.
They also don't like it when you cut down trees, so it's best to dig up the stumps.
Not sure how the AI works in Sons, but I imagine it's similar.

What happens if you unequip your weapn and throw fish on the ground when they come up to you? :
The cannibals actually act very confused when they stare at you because they have not seen other outsiders in a long time
Multiple flaws to this try. #1, you ran at the AI with a weapon out/equipped as that's considered aggressive in the new AI code. So try this again with OUT a weapon equipped an see how it goes.
#2 But to save you the trouble, the AI "ally with a tribe system" isn't even in the game yet. All we can do at the moment is "just not attack them"… which does nothing to change the situation and actually become friendly with a tribe yet.
It would be good if we could absolutely destroy their camp. Vut down their shelters taste of own medicine
the enemies are by far the worst in this game… maybe the only bad thing. but the devs need to do something about this imo. why are there other difficulties if even normal or custom is bad? why is there no setting for “enemy count”??? in this game the monster and cannibals get more and more and more… the more you kill! it goes so far as to be unplayable because at some point hordes of cannibals hunt your base… and by hordes i mean 50 per day! even caves become unplayable with bigger boss monsters in the double digits! this is all honestly f…ed and takes a lot of fun out of the game. why so many? a few monsters are ok but what is going on in this game is a joke.

I still don't get why enemies spawn only if you sleep
i curently doing this in sof too and it kinda shows signs of working ..they still atacking my structurs tho but i had 2 of them siting /crouching next to me and watch me build and eat ..they still throw rocks at me from time to time (the mudy once) but the agression is noticable decreasing
the method is :
if you already got into any agression with them ..make a new safe it wont work
it is a long process and it is important to never atack at all
dont run away and mimic thier behaviour by crouching if they do it
you can run at them to show dominance and if they get too agressive or atack kelv/virgi or buildings
put an item in your hands only if u need to block (not just for blocking but in a situation where you might have to defend) and they come to close
if they just watching or walking slow ignore them
diffrent type of canibals can require repeting this process or it might not be possible (i think the red once are an all out fighting tribe)
dont put up skulls or such bs and no traps
you can not befriend mutants
Dude I made my settings custom the first time ever playing this game I didn't have a clue about crafting so started on peaceful mode, once I got the hang of the building and crafting items I started the custom game with low aggression and literally I couldn't even hardly move after looting the suitcases on the crash site and I was surrounded. I was like you I did nothing and waited for them to attack me and didn't even cut down a tree or enter their camps and I was being hunted from the second I started lol for my first time I gotta say this game has me jumping out my skin ALOT lol
A better question: "What happens to cannibals if you tear off their limbs to move, without killing them?"
This reminds me of compys in Ark. All fine and docile, until there's more than one, then, it's attack mode!
In the first game you could make the cannibals completely passive by not attacking them at all. Killing the ones in caves was fine. Basically when you encountered cannibals you just blocked and that's it and they eventually stopped attacking. IDK if that still works in this game but I would not be surprised if you could make individual tribes passive.
