The pilots and Typhoon jets of the RAF’s 12 Squadron have returned home following a five-month deployment to Qatar, where they provided security for the World Cup.
Since 2018, 12 Squadron has been a joint British and Qatari Typhoon unit, becoming the RAF’s first joint squadron with another nation since the Second World War.

I'm sure footie fans will love this. The only upside to this is that our pilots in the RAF were able to watch the footie. Just another waste of money in my opinion. Flying alongside Qatari Air Force, because they have lots of oil.

Qatar/RAF 5 year lead in on Typhoons ? Sunak offering Ukraine pilot training. Now simulators. Doubt Ukrainian pilots will ever train in UK for that period. More likely F16s in 2 / 3 years in states.
