keep the books, when you have read them use it to trade at the merchants. btw one merchant has car repair kits
There are 3 methods to level up skills.
1: Crafting.
2: Reading books.
3: Learn skills at the traders. Best method. For this you first need to donate stuff to him. By donating you will receive points(100 max). So if you want to learn skill at level 1 it cost you 20 points, level 2 cost 40 points etc. Best to donate guns you don't need or level 4 and 5 books.
Also, to the furthest west there is a trader where you can buy car repair tool.
Also you can build a a shelf that can contain 3 loot boxes. Better than placing them all over the floor.
Get a rain catcher too.
Malaria is just a bad translation, it's really stomach infection from drinking dirty water.

You need boil water on a fire with cooking pot Or just have bad stamina. You can build a loot box stand that stacks 3 box's. Yes books are worth a lot to learn from a trader.
