The impulsor is also good for templars because they can take a multi melta on it.
I'm pretty sure Outriders are 105 points, not 135
Hey Auspex Tactics I was curious if you could do a video that analyzes the best Knights you can take for each Space Marine, Imperial and Chaos Space Marine faction. Since taking a freeblade knight is easy with the battle brothers rules now I think it would be cool to see which ones synergies or compliment the playstyles of each faction the best
must say it really depends on what chapter you play what units are best for you.
i play Iron Hands so some of the Vehicles and units with heavy weapons are much higher on my list and other units i don't really care about, like the captain and Incursors/infiltrators
i still think it is a shame that there is not a custom Iron Hands Terminator unit. Named like "Gorgons" or something.
Time for the quarterly SpaceMarine tier list.
While I agree Devastator Centurions almost need lascannons to justify themselves. I feel like they still hold some weight on the table. Even if someone throws themselves into melee with them, they've got Strength and Toughness 5. The +3 save is generic, but if you can play them with good terrain or a defensive stratagem? Really good base defense.
I have them as Ultramarines, and they make good backline units. They shoot relatively hard. They can fall back and shoot. If they can hide in cover, they get the +2 save. I have a bunch of infantry buffs and 2 Apothecaries. I find placing them in Strategic Reserves is really good for emergency fire power deployment strategy. I really sound like a blue berry huh, THE CODEX ASTARTES DICTATES WE MARCH FOR CALTH.
In fact, I've played against Ultramarines while playing Word Bearers lmao. I regularly like to recreate Calth. I got swallowed by blue. Insane match up against the store's own list/display collection. Assault Centurions being directly blessed by Roboute Guilliman himself. Crunching my poor Word Bearers Khorne Berserkers.
Am trying to do a Primaris only army focused on melee and its nice to see that alot of the options are pretty decent.
I don't care how much they suck, Hellblasters are cool and I'm gonna keep playing them no matter how futile it is.
I really like assault centurions in Blood angels with Guilliman, they will get the 1 hit rerolls even if not core and get a +2 to charge between Gulliman and BA trait, with a priest for revive they are a monstruous if they get up close and melee
Whenever one of these SM videos comes out I get severe faction jealousy. Look at all those options!
Now that GW's favourite is doing very well, can us Nids get our Hyper-Adaptation back to being actually hyper adaptive?
Which Tier do you feel the Kratos fits in? I've been considering picking one up for my Novamarines army, but I'm unsure on if its worth the points – though with a Primaris techmarine it does seem pretty good!
I think you definitely under valued tac marines, yes they're only 10pts less than Sternguard but now that space marines don't really pay for upgrade sometimes those 10pts can make a real difference and they don't take a much more valuable Elites slot. I us them to outflank and do RTB which they auto pass as a 5 man with obsec and then they have enough firepower with the Multi Malta Combi melta and punch in combat that they have to be delt with or they'll be a real pain the next turn. I would say they're definitely the best of the 90pts troops units at the moment 🙂
stormtalon is a staple in my lists. looking awesome is the whole point of a game!
SM Bike squads are super useful, I'd have ranked them higher. With spec weapons and sgt combi weapons now free you can easily build a fast moving unit that can bring in a nice punch. Give them meltas and an extra attack bike with MM (10 points cheaper than the regular AB squad) and there you have 5 melta shots for 130 points. DA Ravenwing benefits from this greatly with the extra movement and all weapons shooting after advance with -1 to hit. And can get obsec in a pure ravenwing detachment. But you can use them as a 3D6 flamer squad for salamanders with a guaranteed 20" movement, or can even bring 3/6 plasma or 3/6 grav shots for anyone who can use them efficiently.
My man, was waiting for this. Seriously the best videos
outriders 105 not 135
Hellblasters are ranked too low imo. I take 10 each list and as long as you keep them back and protect them they obliterate tons of the enemy. I easily have them pay for themselves. But this list is great imo
Drink every time he says Armor of contempt…
Really underselling the Sternguard there. It's almost like nobody thinks AP -2 bolters are actually good. AP -3 in tactical doctrine. They're fucking stupid to play against if they're being run as Ultramarines. Just AP -3 bolters plugging away with max shots at max range from turn 2 onwards. AP -4 on 6s if you have Storm of Fire. Chuck in a few re-rolls and there isn't much that can survive their focused firepower. Tyrannic War Veterans can also double up with their special issue bolters too for 60 models firing high AP bolters.
Source: I lost 22 Terminators in a single turn to this bullshit. 2+ saves don't mean shit when you're on your invuln all game long.
I’m new to 40K can a scout speeder storm be attacked with melee?
I've always ran firstborn with a light sprinkling of Primaris, now I feel like my dedication to them has paid off. Salamanders MSU is the way to go.
I have 40 hellblasters.
Wait…. devastators only cost 23 points while Hellblasters 30 points😮
I'm about to start a Crimson Fists Army and this video couldn't have come out at a better time for me.
Honestly this is why i play house rules/ custom.
Playing Dark Angels makes the selection a lot easier I can tell you that much
If I want to use gun terminators, I think the relics are the better option. They miss out on a missile launcher, but they still have decent heavy weapons, and the sergeant can have a plasma or volkite gun, as well as a lightening claw, power fist, or chain fist. I always find the power sword to be kinda underwhelming for termies.
Also, bonus points for the drip.
I'm surprised that this video came in under an hour. SM have entirely too many units to consider.
Throwing my hat into the ring for Deathwatch Terminators: five man unit are Troops, can be equipped however you want and can take three heavy weapons as well, including plasma cannons (but really cyclones) and all for a base line cost of +2 ppm over other Terminators. Not a bad unit really.
Can we get a new tier list for all armies please

How many times have you made this video? How many times am I gonna study it harder than I did for school?
