Metallica vs Megadeth War | If Darkness Had A Son

BREAKING NEWS, Metallica has just released a brand new track called, “If Darkness Had A Son.” It’s a track dealing with the topic of temptation. I have into the temptation to wear my Megadeth shirt in this video muhahaha. The eternal war between Metallica and Megadeth rages on. Just as Dave Mustaine was creating a symphony of destruction with Marty Friedman in Tokyo Japan, Metallica fired a brand new cut. Listen with me to see how it measures up to the previous singles from their new album 72 Seasons. Learn more about guitar, music theory, songwriting and more with my FREE guitar newsletter below. 1. They had a competitive first couple rounds. Metallica hit hard and put everything into their shots, Megadeth got rocked slightly but responded with some solid counters every now and then and kept in the fight. Both lost a little wind in the middle rounds and the tempo seemed to slow down. Metallica tried to find their second wind, but Megadeth poured it on in the later rounds and proved to be too much in the end. Megadeth won by 11th round knockout.

  2. Megadeth destroys Metallica on many levels. Metallica doesn’t have to try anymore and it shows. Megadeth has way more talent on all fronts. Always have and always will.

  4. 1. The opening riff is awesome, but the transition into the verse sounded weak. I think there should be more of a drum fill.
    2. I get that it may be easy for them to repeat riffs, but it does get redundant with the same riff used multiple times.
    3. Lastly, the solo was really weird altogether.

But at the day of the day, I still love MetallicA, and I'm glad that they're making music even after all these years 🤘
