  1. I haven't driven a vehicle in over a year.
I commute almost every day, unless the job is too far. 90% of the time I was riding.
I lost more than 50 lbs last year.

  2. I'd say road bike is the GOAT. But if you live in a city with traffic lights you overtake every pedelec, but see it on the next stop again. So if your city is crowded and has no good bikeways, you lose a lot of time.

Also it depends how mountainous your area is. If you graveled your way uphill to work okay, but your sweaty smell maybe is not as good to impress your co-workers.

  3. The word "cheaper" in cycling world means "Expensive parts" but saves you money because of avoiding public transportations 😂 every cyclist must agree on this, if not then that's outrageous hahaahha

  4. I'd go with Connor's e-bike, if my goal is just getting from point A to point B. I don't want to get to work huffing and puffing and still need more time to change and get myself ready once there.

It's my first time commuting to work by bike, on top of that, I'm not yet that confident on a bike, I am not yet familiar with the route I will be taking from home to work, and I worry a lot when in open roads. Other drivers here in the Philippines can be idiots at times. Those worries alone already have me sweating profusely as it is! Iimagine arriving at work dripping in sweat?! 🤣

  5. Brompton, I do 20miles per day through the city 95% of the weekdays through out the year, not your speed bike but you can push it more than most ppl think. What sold me, if I have a pint after work, weather change badly or get puncture or so, jump on the train, tube or even bus to get to your destination…

  6. I was born within spitting distance of Raleigh cycles in Nottingham. Hundreds of people commuting everyday on bikes. No one dressed in Lycra, no fancy bikes that only rich kids can afford, and no one wearing a silly hat. Worked fine, everyone made it to work safely and on time.
