Francis, I don't trust Republicans, I worry that they express a more active stance about more weapons to Ukrainians as a form of criticism for the Biden administration. Personally I think the Withe House should be bolder and work for the Ukraine's victory, so more weapons!
I don't get it, the US Congress approved 200 million dollars back in March of 2022 for training Ukrainians to fly F-16s at Ft Sill Oklahoma. Why are they just now acting like they need to train them, by now they should be trained.
I would love to get into an internet fight with somebody from the global south over the environment. Seeing as how climate change impacts the entire world, seeking help from Russia to solve the climate crisis isn't much of a threat. It'll degrade into name calling very fast 😉

The Swedish Grippen is a better choice of fighter for the current situation. The F-16 which requires a 8000 foot runway not mention air superiority to be highly effective. The Grippen can operate from unimproved roadways and doesn't need nearly as much room to take off. It ALSO takes a rather large ground crew to keep the F-16 in the air. The Grippen can be rearmed/refueled by four guys only two of them have to be highly trained. It can also be shipped quicker then ferrying F-16's from the east coast of the U.S.

In the runup to the invasion I kept thinking that nothing would have kept Kyiv quite as safe as Biden rolling into town and hanging out for a while.
Regrettably, Biden, "The Gifter "is an Empty Suit which is why we find ourselves in a "Full spectrum War on Prosperity" costing $trillions in lost productivity worldwide.
Biden should have landed in a B2 with 40 F35s and 20 F22s. At the end of the visit he says he's leaving, but the planes and their pilots stay.
