Emirates has announced that it’ll open a new pilot training facility for its upcoming Airbus A350s and Boeing 777Xs. These aircraft will join the fleet in the coming years, and the airline wants to ensure it is wholly prepared with crew training and much more all taking place here.

When are their 777xs supposedly arriving?
Just get a all a350 fleet Boeing is not going to get that plane already for commercial

Airlines intending to use the 777X: Emirates, Lufthansa, Singapore, and Qatar, will have no choice if the 777X continues to get pushed back. They will have to go with the a350. While this does not really harm Lufthansa and Singapore, as they are already using the a350, it could really hurt Emirates and Qatar. Emirates is dependent on the 777X as it needs to start fazing out it’s 777-300ers and Qatar just ended the feud with Airbus. I don’t think that the 777X will be canceled.
Choosing Dubai is quite an appropriate selection for opening of pilot training facility as geographically, it is a centralized location compared to anywhere in the world.

I assume they aren’t getting one for the 787 because of it’s common type rating with the regular 777’s they use

I'd loved to learn to fly both jets. Lucky guys, I wonder how much those captains and F.O's will get paid to fly such incredible machines.
