  1. Yes I enjoy the chaos. Pooping on the floor causes bad stats normally meaning you get Numemon.

One of the best things you can do is remind yourself of daily item pick ups. Meat, free items from the guy next to Jijimon, Numemon gives you free portable toliets and they are OP later on when you just wanna go. You can ue the warehouse to store like any random item you pick up for later. I tend to try to sleep in the town that way you can use the toilet in the center in the morning before you leave. Another tip is in the Dojo theres a Toilet on the left side. You also to start with want to try to force one to die early. Cause then you can have a powerful digimon basically win their fights for their digivolves before they die. Once the town is better you can get food to live forever.

You also probably want to focus on non rival training to start with. Cause the more bonds they share the more they help each other in battles. It also might trigger an EXE if you die for some super hard boss fights.

I think you can check digivolves from the main menu (not the call them feed them one). Within each of their own single stats but it wont show til you have a bunch. I think levels are just suggestions from what I remember. I know alot of the time I was camping and save scumming some fights for the EXE I mention earlier. Mind you that was on the ps4 and normal was hard mode…

  2. As one who struggled to learn the ins and outs of this game, I feel like being helpful here.

Whenever you give Digimon an item, feed them, exit a battle or finish training and leave the hut, you've a chance to trigger an interaction. These will pretty much always give you new digivolution info if you're a Rookie stage or above. The conditions you've learned can be found in your Digimons' info, under the Partner menu, under History.

In the skills, Parameters are your stats. Most of the skills in the first tab are about improving your stat growth or retention, the skill you were curious about being useful in the case of your Digimon reaching the end of its lifespan and returning to a Digiegg, which is the 'Rebirth' mechanic.

  3. 1:50 Probably wouldn't have gotten a Guilmon the first try. When you first start the game before you do tamer or gym upgrades, your digimon are going to get lower stats when they train, and the more popular rookies need higher stats (Lucemon needs stats that are so high that it's practically an end-game rookie). So first time playing, your in-training digimon are almost always going to be lesser known or less popular rookies. Glad you're seeing this through though!

  4. If you open up the "Partners" tab on the menu screen there should be an option that shows the Digivolutions. Tsukaimon probably weighs more than your other Digimon, which is why he eats more. Digistalks can lower his weight, but check the Digivolution menu first because a higher weight might be a requirement for him to Digivolve.

Major injuries can be cured with medicine more effectively than bandages, but the primary way to get them early-game is as a semi-random daily from the Tokomon (Machinedramon's devolution) next to Jijimon. As a warning: every time a battle ends with the partner Digimon having low HP, there is a chance of that partner getting an injury and there's no auto-HP recovery unless you take the skill. Hope that helps!

  5. great vid Ed! btw +1 on being here for your voice & the starter/non-spoiler info you provide 😉

idc if i'm watching gameplay from someone who knows every-single-thing about the mon game(s) or only the starter info. if it has online competitive play & I was wanting to get into the comp scene, then I'd watch a full guide/walkthrough about that topic once i'd already finished the games story & not on release week 🙂

  6. This game is like first time parenthood.

Also bro ngl, its a bit frustrating that you didn’t read “punimon”’s name and kept walking pass botamon and how you kept ignoring the Partner selection in the pause menu, pretty sure the evolution thing is right there

  7. That fact that you have to go through all of that bs with your editing to avoid stupid copyright claims is ridiculous, specially considering you are literally advertising their game for free. Companies suck 🙁

  8. Most of what I would want to suggest has already been covered by others in the comment. If you could do w live stream then people would be able to offer you advice at a more relevant speed.

  9. I definitely follow you content for your sexy voice. XD I'm definitely a fan of monster raising games but these mechanics seem a bit clunky. They want something every two seconds and it's not very intuitive. These videos will be a big help.

  11. Omg. I hope you don’t mean my comment that I said you suck. I love your videos and I keep watching them all but you are pretty awful at Digimon. Lol. But really it’s not an insult. It says more about how much I like you as a content creator and not as a Digimon player. 😅.

  12. I played the original DW1,2,3, card battle, cyber sleuth, hackers memory, and am so happy to play this after Digimon Survive.

My biggest problem is I know the old game rules and I’m not sure what the major differences are. 😅

  13. i think in early game its better to train your digimon A LOT because there are digimon that are tough even though they are low level.
other than that if you want to make train in the early stage i think its better to train in MP and stamina as MP train gives you more MP value while stamina give you defence.
this is just my opinion for start.
sorry if saying it like know it all

  14. There are multiple ways to see what they will evolve into, but you have to unlock the actual requirement information little by little, generally whenever you do something that benefits your digimon they have a chance to reveal some bit of information about one of their evolutions, such as how many points of strength they would need to evolve and so on.
You can check their digivolution tree at the gym while the training interface is up by pressing the X button (I think? Either X or Y anyway.)
You can also select the "partner" option from your menu and then press A and flip through the information screens, one of them is the digivolution tree.
Edit: What's "right there" is digivolution items, those are late game items that can force a digivolution, not the digivolution list.
