The way I see it there are a few theories that can work here.
Humanity was once incredibly advanced several thousand or millions of years ago, a collapse happened and we lost everything including our colonies in the solar system.
Or humanity was still as advanced, we colonised several star systems but another collapse happened and those colonies were destroyed and everyone died.
Because why would see things that we not only recognise but also look incredibly similar to stuff we have now or have in the history records. The only way to know for sure is to send people up there to check it out properly and hope if these are indeed artefacts or creatures, they don’t get censored and hidden from the public

Then right after I said some thing I had one of the most powerful Deja vu I’ve ever had and it was like getting smacked by brick she said I turned so pale she freaked out because me looking like I did had caused her to have what she called a flooring deja vu. We were both silent for a long time and then 3 weeks later she died in a car accident and I don’t think I have got that day out of my mind.
