  1. I remember reading about this guy in a book, years ago. He thought being preserved and set up on display should happen with all smart public figures as a way to inspire the youth, although the students regard his body as a strange oddity on campus. Apparently they did a bad idea preserving his head, and so only the skull was saved and so they were forced to replace it with a wax replica.

  2. My kids once asked me “dad, do you want to be buried or cremated. I said “I don’t care, do whatever is cheapest and easiest for you”

    I’ll be dead and I have no religious leanings. I’d rather be weighted down and chucked in the sea with no shrouds or wrappings of any kind. Feeding a few sea creatures would be better than the environmental damaged caused by cremation and a lot less fuss than a funeral.

  3. I remember reading a book full of short horror stories,I think by the guy that did the Redwall series, and one of them was a story about a preserved headmaster in the boy's dormitory, that was reanimated by his ghost to scare the s*** out of some misbehaving teens.
