  1. There's not much talk about wimpy Escanor. I think without him, we wouldn't love strong Escanor. 4:07 is easily one of his best moments, and my favorite soliloquy. I think this is where we can see clearly how important is Merlin for him. Despite his over confident personality and superb appearance in his battle mode, he just feel unworthy to be seen as a man by her and he knows she doesn't feel anything for him. She is his sun, unreachable but warm, he doesn't need nor aim for anything else than being near her.

    Edit: Great performance by Sugita Tomokazu, btw. The way his voice gets deeper as he transforms is sublime.

  2. No se habla mucho del debilucho Escanor. Creo que sin él, no nos encantaría el fuerte Escanor. 4:07 es fácilmente uno de sus mejores momentos, y mi soliloquio favorito. Creo que aquí es donde podemos ver claramente lo importante que es Merlín. para él. A pesar de su personalidad demasiado confiada y su excelente apariencia en su modo de batalla, simplemente se siente indigno de ser visto como un hombre por ella y sabe que ella no siente nada por él. Ella es su sol, inalcanzable pero cálido, él no necesita ni aspira a nada más que estar cerca de ella.

    Edición: Gran actuación de Sugita Tomokazu, a propósito. La forma su voz se vuelve más profunda mientras se transforma es sublime.
