I live in Ohio, although I live a little over 200 miles from the train crash site, near Columbus Ohio. I still have some things I wonder about? How far from the site can be affected with something like this, and in what ways? Water, ground, air? And if any of those things can be affected even as far away as I am, would boiling water before use (cooking, drinking) be effective with this type of contamination or should people just stock up on as much bottled water from the stores as they can?
I have a theory about Ohio … the government has been trying to push out the Amish… which is why the FBI has been in their face.
This derailment putting chemicals in the air, compromises farmland of many Amish and homesteaders.

If stray rockets hit US troops this would be really bad but not result in Direct US involvement (unless thats what the US want). I say this as a few years back the US killed over 100 Russian troops in a airstrike in Syria. Russia took it on the chin as a mistake.

I am in Delaware Ohio and some of us are concerned about the toxic chemicals get to our water supply via the flow of the aquifer. The cdc states that these chemicals can getting into your skin and stay there so drinking bottled water isn’t good enough. Why are the governments acting like everything will be fine? So many people are going to get cancer now that should have never had to worry about it. Will this threaten our food supply this summer? There is a lot of farm land surrounding East Palestine….

I have heard this continuously for 45 years….things ate just getting too bad and get ready, etc., and so far, has never been true. The Chinese Spy balloon is nothing compared to the Cold War tensions, plus we all know China tries to on us, we try to spy on them, and this has gone on for decades. Besides that, having there be a war in Europe (also nothing new) or inflation is kind of weak as an “end of the world” scenario, especially compared to how bad things have been previously,
I live at the edge of the affected area by the East Palestine train derailment. Let me tell you, it was a nice feeling having water stocked up, since I didn't know how this could have affected my tap water.

Thank you for addressing Ohio. Not many people talk about it. Heck even the Flint Michigan still doesn't have clean drinking water.

Indeed, we are living in truly perilous times, or so it would seem. As you aptly put it, the ever-increasing rise in tensions between the U.S. and Communist China, the never-ending war in Ukraine threatening to expand into NATO territory, and lastly the train derailment in eastern Ohio, which has led into an environmental catastrophe, with the potential of acts of industrial sabotage, gives proof indeed that any numerous worse-case scenarios can occur. Never would I have believed we could be in the midst of a TEOTWAWKI showdown. Yeah, I have been keeping an eye on the winds of change, and keeping my bug-out bag ready, and even in my car at all times. I never let my gas tank get below 1/8 of full. I'm getting ready to travel out of the country soon, Rome, Italy, last week of February leading into the beginning of March. I sure hope that whatever SHTF is going to happen, will have the common courtesy of waiting until I get to my home and fortress.

Things seem to be spinning out of control everywhere. I think it is time to have your supplies ready just in case it gets to be as bad as it is starting to look like it's going to get.
Warning, be careful where you store your preps. I had too much in my apartment and was facing eviction if I didn’t get rid of part of it. I could have drawnit out in court, so I put it in a storage unit. It was supposed to be climate controlled, and it was supposed to be free of animals. Unknown to me the walls did not go all the way to the floor. In the unit’s beside mine someone was housing 35 indoor cats. When I realize this it was too late it was already three months past and I wasn’t able to get the food out before three months. Anything that wasn’t vacuum sealed or pressure canned was tainted and an edible. Some of the pressure canned jars stunk so much of cat urine, I was advised by the county agent that it would be advisable for me to get rid of it. In other words throw it in the dump! I threw away over 8500 jars of stored food because when you opened it it smelled like cat urine. So I’m starting basically over for 6 months, as I had 3 months storage in my apartment. Kris talks about food in security, he’s talking about me. So let this be a warning watch where you store your preps, friends mean well but often it’s a catastrophe like this was for me. I’m starting out with the basic staples. I sure do miss the variety of grains that I had stored! I don’t know what a tab on your YouTube channel is. So I don’t know if I ever get injured or not I don’t remember filling out any kind of tab that you are referring to. Thank you very much for your levelheadedness, and you stay safe out there too

I really hate how deregulation and poor infrastructure are plaguing the US. We have the power and the money to fix things and prevent things. But we choose not to. This area was deregulated by Trump administration. And it hasn't gotten better under Biden that I am aware of. The Railway company matters more to the politicians than the good people of Ohio.
