Buying parts for equipment to keep it running is cheaper than buying a new vehicle every time there is a break down. BOO HOO THINGS BREAK. When replacing the drive tires on a vehicle, you always change both sides, so you have the same age and mileage on both tyre's.
No critic here. I get why and what you do. I am in the process of doing a complete rebuild of the back of a 88 Pete 379. Different fifth wheel, complete rebuild of air trac suspension, new frame liner insert and more. I had someone ask why and I said "can't find a truck to replace it with that will last" plus it will make the same money as a new one with no payments. That Cat motor should do you real good.
I wonder if you could microwave those bottles. Just a thought, might have to experiment on power and time. I was stationed not to far from the farm. Air base in Rome, and at seventy five my serious wrenching is over. Keep at, I enjoy watching from my recliner.

My freightliner dealer recommended an alliance brand aftermarket radiator instead of OE. the OE had plastic tanks and the alliance was all aluminum. It was half the price of OE.
