The Tailed Beasts, also known as Chakra Monsters, are what you would get if Dragon Ball had a baby with Pokemon and then sent them to the Ninja World. Born ages ago at the hands of the Sage of Six Paths, these Tailed Beast are responsible for much of the Naruto series’ plot progression. The entire village is scarred by the Nine-Tails which leads to them hating Naruto. Naruto’s boosts in power that are one of the only reasons why he was able to keep up in Part 1 were due to the Nine-Tails. The entirety of Shippuden and the Akatsuki were the result of a single group planning to get all nine Beasts together in order to create, or shall I say recreate, a single being known as the Ten-Tails. Old Man Six Paths in the twilight years of his life would come to realize that his power would not last forever, and knowing the dangers that the Ten-Tails would present upon his death, decided to instead split it’s chakra into nine separate chakras, each one taking the form of an animal and given a number of tails to denote it’s position as a member of the whole. Of all the beasts, Kurama is the last member and the strongest, being the one closest to the Ten-Tails’ power, and in possession of special powers that other beasts don’t have, such as his chakra mode. A power up as beautiful, or perhaps more beautiful than any of the transformations I’ve seen in any other anime series. The Nine-Tails originally belonged to Mito Uzumaki before being passed down to her successor Kushina and then once again to Kushina’s own son, Naruto. From the day of his birth, and even some time before that, Naruto was exposed to the Nine-Tails’ chakra and influence. But there has always been a question in my head every time I think about these Tailed Beasts, and even about the Sage of Six Paths. What if he never split the Ten-Tails?

  48. Wait the 9 tails is about 11 percent of the ten tails, and Naruto as a baby could only handle half of that 5.5 percent of the ten tails, so how can he now handle 50 percent of it
