the "oh piss off" was me as well
🙊 The doctor was interrogated and shot in last episode for not telling where Henry was.
Fun fact for you guys. Grey beard guy who gets his head ripped off, is the voice actor for Tommy in the video game.
Great episode!
P.S. American football is one where is is slow, but there's a ton of strategy to it.
I.E. You can literally use the clock and out of bounds to secure victory. Not many other sports have that.
I bawled like crazy this episode, I like all the subtle changes, the part where Ellie is trying to use her blood to cure Sam is SOOOOOO heartbreaking, imagine as kids, they were scared, they try everything they thought it might work, the innocence make the scene extra sad.
Favorite episode so far.
They're not zombies!
Kathleen = Apocalypse Karen
Old dude has excellent aim actually. He wasn’t trying to kill them. He called Kathleen to let her know where they were and did the shooting to pin Henry down so Kathleen can come kill him
i dont know if it was his intention, but the fact that he saw ellie fall asleep, and he decided to sit looking the other way, so if he changed, he wouldnt see her, and cause he's deaf, he wouldnt hear her either, in a way of saying, she could go with no harm.
oh sam 🙁
i think the dynamics are different, if henry was sam's father, after shooting him, he would have tell joel and ellie to go. but since he's his brother, in his eyes, that was his responsibility, as the older brother, imagine putting down ur lil brother like that in a sec, his mind broke, the world ended right there. the taking himself out was in a way, silencing the war in his head in that moment.
when henry was talking with joel at the end, i had a feeling he got bitten, and asking if they (the kids) would make it, and then agreeing to going with joel, so they would take care of sam, and the limping, asking sam to go to sleep so he wouldnt know…. little did i know what their intentions were with how the episode was going to play out.
i havent played the games, but ive seen a couple playthroughs, regardless, that was AGES ago, i dont remember much, besides the ending, and the beginning of the second game.
He slept in a room by himself in the game. Ellie Henry and Joel all slept together in the main room.
lol Kathleen being the leader of some tough resistance group just damn near turned this show into a comedy.
I have a big age gap with my siblings … closet is 2-3 years … farthest is 13-14 years
Love your videos so far. As an American moving permanently to New Zealand, yes football is a bit slow, we advertise everything.. that's a couple reasons why I'm moving.
Also that's awesome, I didn't realize that was the voice actor for tommy! But now it sounds crystal clear lol
22:50 whoa with the language? He’s deaf 😂
That range, in the dark, a moving target. I would give you 50 shots and you wont hit it once. Much harder than you think.
Also he was probably just trying to pin them down until the backup arrived
The episode on the website is not working
I'm from America and trust me, we aren't all football fans. They're so boring. The commercials, or ads, are second to the half time show and lastly the game comes in the third spot for what's important. I don't get it either, it's so weird. We Americans are a strange lot. Save meee! Thanks for the videos 😁
I am 100% convinced that they made Sam deaf just so they could pull that jump scare with Ellie approaching him at the end of the episode, and him not turning around to attack her until she touches him.
It's the perfect contradiction…. an infected that can't hear.
My younger brother and I caught the ending similar reference of Sam’s deaf is like the grandma chasing Sarah. And my brother told me what if it would be sadder if Abby appears and beats up Joel but doesn’t kill him then later, Joel dies in Ellie’s arms and calling her “Babygirl” referencing of Sarah’s death in Joel’s arms.
Suzy over here rocking the slipknot shirt
Cuts deeper knowing his baby brother is the first person Henry killed with his own hands.
