  1. Love this gameplay, and Welonz's commentary!
And yeah, Isaac seems a Bad Dad (TM) to me. "Who would leave their daughter?" Oh, I don't know – someone who's had practice in leaving their other, older daughter? Like, does he forget that? 🙃

  2. The homeward and outward group reminds me so much of the scientist back in Horizon Zero Dawn. The world's greatest minds are often the ones who critiques and have strong beliefs and ideology. So much so that they are willing to go the extra mile to cooperate or not cooperate. In this instance, Isaac truly believes (?) that the fundamental root cause as to why earth is a lost cause is due to it's people. One might say that in general people are more inclined to want to save earth given that it affects everyone. Yet some individuals especially people in power couldn't really care less and push those problems on others or they outright downplay it. A very fickle and dire situation nonetheless and whether one is right over the other isn't as simple.

    EDIT:
Ok I guess there we go William just confirmed it all. Also props to the VAs, they are really doing an amazing work.

  3. I think for the sake of having more diverse landscapes and terrain they added the snowy section. Mars overall is pretty cold, but there's really no snow or precipitation because of the scarce atmosphere.

  4. Listening to McArthur speak, a psychologist he is not.
At least, not a competent one.

Also only 30 years for Earth to look like Mars? I suspect he's also not a geologist.

  5. yes the moonbear transmission was specifically for your A.S.E. the static jumbled noise you hear during it would have actually been a software patch or update. it's the reason ayla can read those holograms.

  6. Bith McArthur and Rosa are to blame. Without Rosa starting dissent from the day she woke up. Project could have worked. Without McArthur pusshing people and ignoring dissent that civil war could have been avoided. So in the end both are to blame.

Now the question remains who has suffocated all the people. Main characters father?

  7. This is one incompetent crew. Kat is insubordinate AF, Sarah is unable to lead due to psychological & physical traumas. Only Ryan is composed enough, but his role is reduced to Sarah's nurse. The Earth is doomed.🤕

  8. The scene with Claire was really painful. To see Isaac in the laughing scene still care only for Kathy, and what is admittedly tender yet trivial things at a dire moment like this, I mean him still only having remorse for a very skewed very hurtful worldview, was heartrending. I can't imagine what amount of sorrow Claire felt.

  9. Yeaaah, Isaac, you really are a terrible father tho. Not to mention a complete pushover. Like, hot damn did Claire not have a good time being alive.

As for the fate of the colony overall, it sure seems like they wouldn't have made it even if McArthur wasn't a bad leader and everyone was fully on board with Outward.
From what we see so far, there was no way for them to set up a stable supply line for either materials or food, and no way to fix the situation in the foreseeable future.
