I'm starting to think cato was Latin for cuntfaced because both elder & younger were absolute asshats
I could only imagine what world history would look like if Carthage lived.
Eventually we are all dust like the Cartho's, who had it coming.
My first thought on seeing so many pots with children inside, clearly made and placed with care, was a child's cemetery. We aren't that much different then people back then.
The narrator is a little in love with his own words but this was a great documentary
So the Carthaginians did. actually burn children in sacrifices to their God’s. Obviously Rome put out allot of propaganda but is that not what this is too? He said that Rome accused them of doing it but he never actually said it wasn’t true (cause it was) so is this not kind of propaganda too? We seem to rush to defend the weaker culture these days but that’s a modern phenomenon. History dictates that the strong take over the weak and prosper as a result. That’s the way it goes. I’m not saying it’s right but neither are participating awards. We’re not all equal and we don’t all come from cultures who’s footprint is as large or as important as others. I know that might come as a shock to hear that. But if your ancestors (like mine) we’re living in a mud hut somewhere when the Roman’s were building aqueducts and paving roads throughout an empire than it’s just as well that your culture (and mine) fell and was taken over and incorporated into a better one. It’s how the world progresses. Playing make pretend leads us to where we are now
Like the chinese Empire. Gtfoh.
Golly, this commentator is verging on onanism about Carthage
