One video says that Churchill knew in advance that Japan was fixing to bomb Pearl Harbor and he did nothing, did not warn America, of it because England needed America in the war in order to win the war with Germany.

Correspondance shows Britain, America and France caused WW2 by forcing Poland to be beligerent towards Germany. Britain had no interest in saving Poland, but was interested in crushing German economic might. Poland was a tool for that.
What a coincidence that Churchill and Roosevelt both agreed only an "incident" could cause the U.S. to get more involved in the war effort and then magically the axis provide incidents at just the time when they were needed – sinking of U.S. destroyers in the Altantic and then Pearl Harbour.

Essential viewing if you want to understand what's happening with Ukraine and NATO. Makes you wonder about Pearl Harbour. Imagine, now, how the US would react if a foreign adversary sank three US Navy ships in short order. Imagine an America that wouldn't.

Rooservelt was obviously a Coward and inept to lead. Japan and Germany played him like a useless old fiddle . It is well known that Churchill had advanced warning of the attack on Pearl Harbour and wisely did NOT let Roosevelt know.That in itself was a Masterstroke of Genius. The rest is History. The 50 destroyers the Americans lent the British were Clemson class rust buckets. As warships they almost were useless. Built in the early 20's, by 1940, because they had lain in mothballs for nearly twenty years, they were clapped out pieces of junk that had to be totally reconditioned to be of any use. In short, it was not much of a sacrifice for the Americans to palm off this old rubbish on the British, especially when you think of all the goodies the Americans got in return.
I like the nickname Gen. Vinegar Joe Stilwell give Roosevelt. He referred to him as "Old Rubber Legs," which really sums up his character!
