That was pretty embarrassing for Taylor and Will. Especially towards the end, it got tough to watch. If the last few years have shown us anything, it's how strong a bad idea can grip someone's mind and not let go regardless of the facts. Steve and Sam went out of their way to slowly and carefully explain why none of their conspiracy theories made sense and they just could not let it go. It was painful to watch.
7:27:53 Let’s only take a moment to appreciate how much time and passion she placed into the vid?
It's incredible, and I think they justify more than that
fun Nate Tice sighting in the background
I can’t imagine being publicly graded on my job performance against everyone else in my industry. I think that’s why NFL players have some resentment toward PFF. Still was tough to hear Taylor not fully acknowledge the validity of the grading.
Lol i really hope there's a majority in the locker rooms in the NFL who will listen to this and gain a calm sense of mind on their grading. These guys don't play favorites, every graded play is viewable, the schemes and what teams do can be figured out in time after long after a game versus in real time.
People will find this conversation uncomfortable but this is whats needed for the community. Bridge the gap and learn from one another. This is my favorite episode ever, this will be one to look back on in the future.
There’s some cake in background too
The collab needs to happen. The current scope that nfl films encompasses is not enough to gain true understanding of positions vs position outcomes. The intricacies of gap fitting , pass setting, pre and post snap reads needsto be discussed more and the way coaches employ tactics needs to be addressed as well. Add a quarterback to this group and you might have some of the best football talk available for the public to view.
Tannerhill pick 11&41. For pick 3 and dhop
I loved this. Great, candid discussion. Of course every NFL player thinks they're above average, or that their grade is too low. They're elite competitors. That's part of their psyche.
They want to punish PFF for being biased, but is there any organization that does a better job than PFF minimizing bias? But I’m biased because I love what PFF is doing.
Lol so embarrassing for the titans
Bussin with the Boys are hilariously dumb
00:08:25 glitch in the matrix as in the background another Sam walks by
Lol Taylor had literally no point just blowing smoke
Appears Taylor was trying to “save face” for the locker room boys.
It would be interesting to have guests come in for "Explain the Grade" segments. Could even go with historical examples for players that have retired and have more time to appear on the NFL's #1 podcast.

Nice to see most people in the comments defending PFF. Lewan and Compton were so dismissive of Steve and Sam explaining their process. Like we understand that PFF doesn't know every word being said at practice or in the huddle, but they're comprised of former NFL players, coaches, and just overall smart people who are capable of understanding if a certain player missed their assignment.
PFF doesn't need to know the inner workings of O-line hand placement to know if a guy got blown up by the Edge player and ruined the play. Also, if a team's run scheme somehow relies on an O-lineman losing his matchup each time for some weird reason, then I'm sure PFF would recognize that and alter their grading. It seems that these NFL guys aren't allowing themselves to believe that someone who didn't play at that level is able to interpret the game,
Just finishing and this is so painful. These guys are talking to some of the founding members of PFF and suggesting that maybe backdoor deals are happening to improve guys' grades that they're unaware of. The lack of respect is a joke. They're saying that maybe Bobby Wagner is a "favourite" so he grades better for the "same plays" as Will Compton. Like Wagner gets graded well because he's an excellent player, not because he's a favourite. Will might think that since he and Wagner have 8 tackles then their grades should be the same, but it's obviously more complicated and these guys just refuse to believe it.
Taylor and Will both made football players sound stupid! Those two guys Embarrassed themselves if they were truly serious in the questions they asked!
So where did we dig up these two Bussin' divots? Find 'em at a trailer park slurping down a 30 pack of Old Milwaukee Light ? Let's not do this again, please.
Wow I feel offended and I don’t even work at PFF. Absurd. Leading the witness if there ever was one lol
