Tbh I love medabots but my favorite medabots game is the one on GameCube medabots: infinity
God, I remember playing this game (And I remember how much trouble I had with the 'rappy racing' or whatever it was called, somewhere later in the game, where you had to rappidly press A>B>A>B etc.). Been way too long though, so my memory is probably very vague and wrong on many parts. xD
While we may not have seen another Medabots game in the west since this game I like to think of LBX: Little Battlers Xperience on the 3DS as a good spiritual successor of sorts
If ed played the rokuso one than I could be watching snak playing one version & ed playing the other one. But ya these were fun&hard took me a long time to get further ahead. Japan switch have the medabot legacy like game that have like 6 medabot games on it.
This is honestly a missed opportunity of a game, so underrated.
You didn't save, so there was no save file to destroy anyway.
They had such a cool toy line when we were younger.

Shame Medabots's entire identity in the west was bound to the anime. The only other game we got here was a spinoff that got reskinned to match the anime cast.
At least we got fan translations for the GB version of Medarot 1 and the PS1 game.

There was metabee and rokuso version the games. They had another one for the GBA too but there's also metabots infinity for the GameCube and PS2 too and if you had the Gameboy adapter that connects to the GameCube and you would get Arc beetle for metabee and for rokuso is mega emperor
A remake of the GBA one would be cool but I'd also love a translation of the Japan-only 3DS one, or a new one in general that isnt unofficial NFT shill bs. ;w; Medabots/Medarot is such a fun concept for a game, I'd love more stuff with customizable robots you can collect parts for and mix n' match!

They did release a game but it was released only in Japanese in 21 or 22
You don't target parts at all, it's a random choice. You should have started attacking with the machine gun, then switched to rockets, when the arm got destroyed.
Also, I think you could have attacket after collecting medaforce, if you would have chosen thelegs in that instant, but I'm not 100% sure.
… Remake… Hopefully it has an option to ask Kikuhime out.

Fun fact: This game is actually a remake of medarot II on Game boy. Not only that, it got ANOTHER remake on the PS1.

most old games don't have auto save, you have to start remembering that and save the game
I really love this game, especially the combat system. The random targetting can be annoying at times but the unique spin on what looks like an ATB system is really compelling.
Note that you won't be able to use Medaforce until your Kabuto medal reaches a certain level 🙂 I would love to see a continuation of your playthrough.

If you care about it looking better you can use reshade to clean it up. That's what i've been doing on all pixelated games it makes it way more bearable 😉
I loved the show, and that was my favorite gba game as a kid, regret selling it so had to hunt it down again lol. Need to get a gba advance and link cable so I can trade stuff to one game. Wish it came to not switch and not be part of the switch online gba program.
