You know I think this game is fun. But that skill tree is just a bad idea. It seems more annoying than anything else.
You can have multiple backpacks in cart/vehicle and can fill a pack while its on ground so you dont need to put it on to fill it
Someone may have touched on this already as there is TONS of comments and I'm not going to read them all, but, there is loot on the ground EVERYWHERE, they may have patched it but you can run around with your bag open to see nearby items. Also, there are TONS of resources around the flatlands by the airport. Also, the trader Northwest of the airport has the car repair kits generally. And lastly you can "carry" things around by clicking and dragging them around with you from the inventory screen. Hope this helps GE! Keep em coming broski!
Edit: the car repair kit trader is the one that is west of the airport, not Northwest. My bad.
Gamedged, if the 2 backpack you find before can't put in your backpack, you might can try put in your hot bar see can fit in to it just carry them? Or drag and throw on the ground to your cart outside? The stuff that previously put in the backpack is still stay inside. So if you swap out the backpack you currently have, and replace a new one that you find, the previous backpack that carry your original stuff is still there, just don't forget to pick them up and put them into the cart.
Yes, you can "drag" the backpacks into your cart. You can also fill them up b4 you put them in the cart as well
Hey GE, you got to start listening to everyone who's commenting.
Go and find backpacks. You can pile backpacks up into the carts and then fill each backpack up with items and then put the full backpacks into the cart. Now the cart can hold all the backpacks that are full with all of other stuff this way you can maximize your space. When you get a truck you can do the same thing with the truck by keeping all of the backpacks in the truck and filling the backpacks individually that way you maximize your space.
And when you go to the trader and you want to give him items for relationship points, you max out at 100 so once you hit a hundred stop giving him items because you are just throwing the items away. You just gave him a hundred and then you kept throwing things at him and you leave me screaming at the TV.
Same thing when you are trading him for resources. You just gave him a whole bunch of stuff away because it was still in your favor you had all of those items you could have pulled some items away and made it more of an even deal because you were like halfway blue which means that you were not making advantage of the trade because you were giving him items more and worth than what he was giving you.
I'm not playing this game and I can see now that you've been trading more that you are not treating right and you are not building relationships right either because you were just giving away way too much stuff.
Additionally you can move backpacks by clicking on them and walking You can drag it over to your cart and then what you can do is you can swap your backpack and put it in the cart and then load things in the next backpack you put on. That way you can utilize the backpacks

When buying items, watch the bottom numbers. Make sure you're is a little bit bigger.
If looking for car parts, they are the trader north east of the ship. Watch for bears in the town by it. Lol

Can you build in the hydro towers
When making a trade, look at the red and blue lines at the bottom of the trade widow. You will see numbers next to those lines. Those numbers are the dollar amount of the offer for that half of the window. Blue is you, red is him. When you see blue, your offer is more than his. When you see red, his is the bigger offer. He will not accept a deal that is not in his favor or at least dead even, he will however allow you to over pay. Balance the numbers to get your best deal.

If you do decide to live there, you can build your horde base on the bridge. it would be a lot easier to defend.
You can find car repair kits at the merchant to the middle west of the map in the middle of the forest. Save heat some heat resistant clothes like shorts and sun hats for summer, the heat will start to affect you. I think you can also use the fabric from dismantling clothes to make the really simple bags to pull the backpack trick with the cart. Use F with backpack on ground to load it and drag it close to cart or car. Open cart and backpack will show nearby and can be put into cart. You cannot put packs into other packs.
Trader with car repair kits is in the middle western part of the map. Place the repair kit in the cars inventory then hit the repair button. It looks like 2 inverted arrows. And bears are a thing here.

at the trader, look at the numbers next to the coloured bars, the bars reduce in size when you go over 100 and then it looks like he is less interested, however the numbers are what are key. When you added the ammo you were just one point below what he would accept so adding one item would have gotten you all the ammo.
When you find firearms make sure you empty out the ammo from them it might increase your ammo storage and also put the packpack that is on you into the cart then pick up another backpack you can hold more stuff.
We as a community need to request a bear added to the game all in the name of gameedged
He's definitely gotta make it easier to kill zombros. All around. 2 melee shots to the head and one shot with a gun. Shits crazy how long they take to kill
