I think it's ridiculous to think the nfl is scripted, would be the more difficult than revolution to pill off. On the other hand, I thinks it's equally ridiculous to think that the nfl does not have an ideal scenario they would like to happen, whether that be financially or socially. There's only so much you can do to influence a game, but when they can (phantom holding call in the super bowl) they do. They can't control the outcome 100%, but if they can tip the scales in their favor, they absolutely do.

We don’t think every game is rigged Pat. We think the big games are swayed by corrupt officials and possibly the commissioner himself. It’s a very real possibility that officials are paid off to make certain calls or no calls in favor of one team. It’s possible the commissioner himself is doing it for the teams that’ll make better headlines in the Super Bowl. Ratings and revenue matter more to corrupt Roger than the greater good of the sport itself.

ive never understood the whole "everyone has to be in on it" when it's already noted that the most viewers will watch these games but yet they use the shittiest refs. seems like that's on purpose. also! never forget bottle gate. the nfl has allowed refs/other personnel to "rig" games. saints NFC. there's a lot of history to point to that can affirm you then turn you off from the "rigged" standpoint.
