Elizabeth I lived a life of tremendous ups and downs. In her 69 years, she was at one point a bastard Princess, a prisoner, and a glorious monarch – ruling as a woman in her own right. Elizabeth was one of the most astute rulers England ever had. So what did she really look like? In today’s video, we’ll explore her life, history, and true appearance. We’ll discuss which portraits of her may be the most accurate, her resemblance to her mother Anne Boleyn, and of course reveal some re-creations.

Excellent Video !!!!!! Thank You So Much !!!
Another great reveal! Amazing!
Apart from her hairstyle, jewellery, ruff and clothes, there was nothing beautiful or feminine about her…. One can only speculate about her voice, but it was probably also very masculine… which is not surprising when one is made a tranny, placed on the throne to hide the neuter behind…
Nice. From these can you guess what she looked like older?
What seems very interesting to me, in the modern recreation, I think that Elizabeth looks like she could be related to Nefertiti
I love seeing her in the recreations
Considered 'plain' ?? She was beautiful.
Also, Game of Thrones 🤐😞
I just discovered your channel, I love it! I love the re-creations, but love the history too!
I learn a lot in your channel❤
those smiles…
Something about her gaze—it makes me feel secure but also makes me want to be better than I am. I think that’s what really good people and good leaders inspire in those around them.
Henry did not suffer from a "downfall".
I think Meryl Streep has a strong likenesses to likeness to Elizabeth 1
Are furries so universally bad as Graham would have it? I feel it is a niche lifestyle that would attract good and harmless people as well as middle-aged men?
Elizabeth was really into heavy metals!
No matter how she looked, she was certainly one of the greatest monarchs in the history of England.
listening to this is so calming & such an inspiration to live our life ✨️ in our highest capacity 💚
I'm always blown by the storyteller.
When he was young, her father was considered very handsome…it’s nit surprising she was beautiful.
Not a true beauty? If that modern reconstruction is accurate to what she really looked like, then she was absolutely beautiful!
This was great thank you I subscribed Always On for Elizabeth One
She looked very much like her Mother Queen Anne Boylen 😍👍
Beautiful story❤. Thank you so much for sharing.
wow her face recreation looks like Cate Blanchett the actress who did the best Elizabeth personification ever.
Could you do a documentary on Lady Ann Clifford (1590 – 1676) whose father was a favourite of Elizabeth I, Sir George Clifford, 3rd Earl of Cumberland. Lady Ann Clifford witnessed the funeral of Elizabeth I.
Beautiful presentation!
She was really quite pretty.
Absolutely brilliant, as always. For me, the best likelihood of Elizabeth's appearance is the "modern" one—in it, she has the Boleyn slightly hooked nose.
Woah! What a story! History is wicked!
the young Elizabeth looks like kate blanchet
The modern one, I think I felt her spirit there wow! These recreations.
Extraordinaire, wow
History of loot & plunder of other countries started in the form of trade during her reign…a deceitful history
The modern recreations are incredible 😍 she was pretty! Very stoic and regal! Reminds me of Catherine Hepburn a little bit!
It says Mary reigned from 1516 to 1558 that was the year she was born to when she died, she reigned from 1553 to 1558…. Sorry not picking faults at this awesome vid at all I know it's a small mistake but it had me scratching my head for a second lol, love this channel, gained a new subscriber 😊x
Oh I wish I could travel in time to see all these people looked like. Your work gives a little bit od that, thank you! 🙂
All Kings in those times were obsessed with having sons.
She looks like someone I'd want to know. Awesome artistry.
Wonderful thank you. I would like to see how Princess Dianna would have aged. Died, forever young.
She was probably good and learned young she had to be someone that stayed out of the way of king Henry
If QE I would've had a modern makeup artists, it would've so benefitted her. Healthwise. And self-image. It's clear that although a very strong monarch, she had frailties in the self image department. She was…human.
