  1. I dont know if you have done a streaming box comparison yet, but the Chromecast with Google TV is the best that I have used and the worst is the Roku and Skystream, I like the larger selection of apps on the Chromecast and the UI is very clean and simple to use, I like that you can turn off the suggested content and just have the apps, I dont have to waste time scrolling through apps since they are all easily visible.

  2. This is why I love YouTube nowadays. A perfect video for a random guy struggling in projector land. Though I had to watch it at 0.75 speed and with intermittent pausing for my brain to keep up! thanks a lot

  3. I’m still baffled haha! I’ve got the Awol 2500 and don’t know whether I need an ALR or just a regular screen like the Elite sable 2. My projector is in a dedicated cinema room that is pitch black. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

  4. one tip for people, if you have a screen that can be projected on either side so that you can project from front or back, if you are projecting from front, put a black sheet that isnt heavy on the backside of the screen and it will help out. i bought a screen that can be projected from either side and when i added a black sheet behind it, it made it way better and i can actually turn lights on and still see the picture.

  5. I used to knock cheap projectors until I bought one on Amazon for just under $300 and I’m completely satisfied with it. I project onto a double layer white screen with a black blackout cloth behind it. It’s reminiscent of an OLED TV now lol

  6. Great info! What’s the best setting to make any home projector to shown like commercial cinemas , I mean smooth and fluid motions?I am trying to get that ..I have a Benq ht 3550, clean n crisp images but most times uneven images like the movies filmed on a boat at high seas 🙂

  7. Do you have any recommendations for portable projector screens that have less than 1.0 gain? Looking to take it on a plane.. All the ones I find online are 1.1 that can fit into a bag. I bought one and it’s okay, but like you said, it does add too much brightness in my opinion at the expense of contrast.

  8. Avoid bulbs. I will never trust even the most respected brands. Epson mentions that my 3800 will last 3k hours in medium power. Only thing they didn't tell you is image will look like crap starting around 1700 hours. Get laser !!!

  9. Hello! I have an HP CC200 projector but needing a remote replacement. Does anyone know where I can get one? HP customer service is not able to help. It’s sad to have a $300+ projector that works perfectly but cannot use cause I don’t have a remote 😢
