The bomb-bot only gives you one free bomb but it will also use bombs to save you automatically if you are about to die.
Also, you did really well for your first time playing! Time to graduate from Novice mode I think 🙂
bomb bot gives you bomb for free insted of having to buy them, max=number of bomb bots
got stung by a washed up man-o-war jelly, shit hurt like hell, pay attention to where ya walk on the beach lol.

The bomb bots basically guarantee you start each stage with a free bomb per bot but if you don't use them they won't give you extra. Otherwise you aren't given new bombs every stage after using them and either have to buy more or choose them from boss rewards.

So the magnet passive is great for the weapons that want you to not release the fire button. You pick up all coins no matter what with it
