Gurkha logisticians have been formally welcomed into the British Army’s global response force as it expands in size and capabilities.
15 Air Assault Support Squadron Queen’s Own Gurkha Logistic Regiment officially joined 16 Air Assault Brigade Combat Team at a parade at Merville Barracks, Colchester.
Set to music by The Band and Bugles of The Rifles, the parade was also inspected by Brigadier Patch Reehal, Colonel of the Queen’s Own Gurkha Logistic Regiment.

Probably the scariest logisticians – in the world.
You don’t wanna mess with Gurkhas 😬
Oveltien milk maltomeal sugar. It's like 🍵 tea.
Time to kick some ruzzian butt!
Ever loyal and ready Gurkhas soldiers.
My Dad served with the Gurkha's in Malaya in 1949 with the Royal Armoured Corp but also did work as a correspondence for them…..I have some of his original typed reports of skirmishes, ambushes and other dreadful encounters that were ultimately censored by the higher echelons before being printed in the Regiment magazine…..Some of the reports of Gurkha bravery and menace would bring a shiver down your spine and be worthy of a George Cross each time!!!
Even when the UK it's on its last legs, they still treat the Gurkha's as second class citizens, not even the French are this stupid
A formidable force much respect to the Gurkhas👍
Can someone explain to me who these guys are?
The Gurkhas won the 1982 Falklands war.
Gurkhas as far as I am a aware are a serious outfit. They have to not only prove their worth to the British army but have indeed done so. Glad to have such people on our team.
Thank you Gurkhas ❤️
The new Globalist Army Britain is dead
The UK (England particularly) trying to revive the empire. Should have stayed in the EU
Love the Gurkhas but we treat their loyalty and service disgracefully, we need many more of them
Awesome addition to 13 Air assault
It is time to disband the Gurkhas, they are no better than a good infantry unit. The additional costs of of the Gurkhas is simply not worth it, no matter of past history. Yes I have served with the gurkhas and they no better that a regiment formed from British soldiers who are less expensive than the Gurkhas!
Why are these videos full of Gurkha bum licking comments😂
Some of them look like Japanese, never even knew what a Gurkha was, but now I know, they are apparently soldiers from Nepal. Keep in mind I am Australian, it appears British people are more taught what Gurkha are, since they have a direct history relationship with Nepal.
GOD BLESS
Rather dead than cowardly
ONLY THE UK COULD PUT THE GURKHAS INTO LOGISTICS WHEN THEY ARE BETTER THAN REGULAR INFANTARY
When do they become the Kings own instead of the Queens own, or maybe the commentator misspoke?
Tiny
Years ago (1990s, I think) I was in a taxi in NYC. I asked the driver where he was from (we had been chatting for a few minutes already) and he replied “Nepal.”
I said, oh, home of the Gurkhas! And he said “Yes! I was one!” He then went on to tell me that the British Army did not, in fact, give the same retirement benefits to Gurkhas that they did to their White British counterparts. He was quite bitter about it, actually. I hope that has changed by now, if it’s true.
They fight valiantly!
Sounds like worlds getting ready for ww3
Are they getting matching pay, benefits, and pensions as our British troops?
What fine bunch happy chappie never met unhappy Gurkha wish you well be safe
