  1. Was able to get this for 99€. No regrets.
Ended up setting up my 120mm AiO with push+pull in the back and switching the preinstalled 140mm Light Wings fan to the top. Good way to suck out the hot air that my Vega 56 produces.
    Ryzen 3800X at 4,3GHz and 1.28V doesn't exceed 75°C under 100% load.

  2. Just for a small comment, I thought JayzTwoCents didn't like Corsair's iCue Commander Pro but somewhat compliments the BeQuiet Pure Base 500 FX pwm and rgb header. His first complaint about Corsair iCue is that the fans are powered by a SATA plug. This case for the pwm and rgb header is powered by a SATA plug too. Now, it's you have to have a fan powered by iCue for it to work in the Commander Pro or XT. Well, you get better RGB settings with iCue than your normal standard RGB fans.

  4. GREAT review. I bought this case and have most components, just waiting for i9-13900KF and mobo and ram, and now I know how I'll be setting up cooling. Great info.

  5. Never been a fan of side panel deadening. I'm not a science major but I figure we used to sound deaden because the thin aluminum in old antec cases used to vibrate, esp with old school fans but you can just use heavier metal and the deadening isn't needed. Maybe the sound deadening is cheaper than using thicker metal or more weight efficient but I'd figure it also traps in heat more too. I guess it could be kinda nice to have something cushioned against the wires/connectors instead of smashing them in with a metal panel. Could slightly reduce noise by keeping things snug too like a thermal pad. Meh. /rant

  6. Can you do more reviews and recommendations for itx build focussed cases, which are somewhat future proof of nvidia's bus sized 40 and future generation cards (not enthusiast range, but xx70 or radeon x700 range compatible. Cheers!

  7. its the same with more rgb. hahaha. Altought, its been a year since i had the dx and i can say that with a 10850k and a noctua dh15 this case has been the best bang for the buck ive purchased in my entire life. the airflow is phenomenal and the acoustics my god! you cant even tell its on! For me, who owns a recording studio is a plus.

  8. More cases need more usb on front. Even for wireless it’s way better to have direct view of dongle. So frustrating when there’s only one or 2. should be 4. No need for anything other than usb 3.0 or whatever. Even 2… damn you case people!

  9. Hey can someone give me a little guidance? I got this Be Queit! Pure Base 500 FX case. I am going to be using a 5900x with a Artic Freezer II 240 ARGB AIO top Mounted as exhaust, pull config (I believe is stock config). Keeping stock fan config in case. SHOULD I MOUNT MY MSI MPG A1000G PSU FAN UP OR DOWN. I am probably going to get a 6900XT or 7900XT. Im Using a Mirco ATX MSI MAG B550M MORTAR motherboard. 4x8gb Single Rank Corsair VENGEANCE RGB PRO SL DDR4 DRAM 3600MHz C16 (2 of these kits CMH16GX4M2Z3600C16) and not that it matters but a 1tb Crucial P3 PCIE 4.0 NVME M.2 SSD.

  10. Don't think my board even has a JST RGB header as far as i know, my board is Gigabyte B460M_DS3H motherboard, was cheap board at the time in 2020 when i did my system refresh at the time , but someday i'll have a board upgrade again with a true ARGB header

  11. I remember the psu used to be at the top now i love this case i do think two usb3 and the 3.1 would be nice also the hub in the back with all those wires could hinder mapping out your cables and if you wanted to change your cpu cooler you may have issues ,,,would you think that ,at least for me i want a case i can completely take apart to paint without rivets but love your content

  12. Hi Jay, I have the exact issue you referenced at ~3:55 with my mobo not having the 3 pin argb connector, but rather the 4pin. Can you provide more details to the JST adapter you referenced? I looked around on amzn etc a little bit but didn't really find something that I was confident was the correct adapter.

  14. My Mobo has a 4 pin rgb header. The manual calls it a jled. I've been looking for a adapter for it but haven't had any luck. I have the msi gaming m7 mobo. Do you know if there is an adapter for this header?

  15. Hi Jay!
Looking for your (or anyone’s really) take on my problem/solution situation:
So I wanna get some argb fans and be able to control them through software. Only I don’t have argb port on my motherboard.
I tried looking for an adapter from 3pin-argb to usb header but it doesn’t exist (not to buy anyway). Only thing is 3pin-argb to usb external port, but that would require me to have the cable go out of the case.
The thing I came up with, with the stuff I did manage to find online- is to get that 3pin-argb to USB adapter(external) and then use another adapter from it, of an external female usb to internal female usb that can connect to the motherboard header.
    So.. Yup? Nope?

  16. Hello everybody,
I've been trying to get the Lian Li LANCOOL 216 for a while now but it's just not available here. Do you reckon this case would be a good alternative or should I wait and keep trying to get the Lian Li?
