John the apostle suffered as an elderly man in a prison camp on Patmos, but God never forgot about him and his faithfulness to Jesus as a disciple afterall John was the only disciple with the three women at the crucifixion Mary the mother Martha and Mary Magdalene and John was brave enough to be at the crucifixion I believe that's why he was rewarded for his faithfulness by being able to see the vision of Revelation into the future

Who's God
I always say I want to go home. When I think of the house I was raised in it still doesn't seem fulfilling. Now I know its the Heaven that's it the home I really miss.
The Truth is I do not deserve anything from God, the fact that he loves me, knows me, sent his son to die for me..just brings me to utter silence full of humble awe..because No word can be good enough to express how overwhelmed with thankful joy. That while i sinned and yes often continue to sin, Christ died for me.. me he knew me! Even before i was born… He loves me, and i am just starting to grasp in my understanding, a tiny portion of that awesome love..
I repent daily, and i love God because he first loved me.
Thank Dr. Jeremiah for helping me understand, i truly had the wrong concept of the fathers love.
