  1. This video was an incentive for the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation Charity Event I hosted on my channel in December 2022! Thank you all for supporting a cause that directly affects me and thousands of others! Enjoy the video!

  2. 35:25 – I got my playset of 1st ed Ult Cydra from way back in the day. Though the non-1st eds look way better with the Ultimate treatment.

While SJC Cyber Stein is my most expensive card, I still have a soft spot for original TP cards (Especially the extremely useless ones from TP1 and TP2). TP cards were the thing that got me into collecting (As stuff from normal packs I considered nothing more than game pieces at the time).

While I've haven't played since the introduction of Links, I still love taking a look at my collection once in a while (Especially if it means pawning off trash during a hype spike).

  3. If your Ultimate Rare Maxx C is $850 while it's still banned…imagine how much that will go up to if it ever comes back to 3!

Also, I think they missed a crazy opportunity to get some SJC/YCS prize cards to have value far beyond anything we've ever seen. Imagine if you will that each SJC or YCS would have a different power card from Yu-Gi-Oh's history as its prize, something that's already been released…the catch? If the card gets banned in competitive Yu-Gi-Oh, the SJC/YCS versions are still legal, and ONLY those versions. So just like an anime protagonist that has the only copy of some crazy card, you could have just one person legally able to play Pot of Greed, or the old version of Chaos Emperor Dragon (pre-errata, these would be immune to errata too). If they ever run out of power cards worth doing this with, then create some new stuff specificslly for these events, knowing that it wouldn't end up in the hands of the wider player base.

If it ever got to the point where there were too many YCS prize cards that fit this description in an individual player's deck, then put an ACE SPEC rule on them like the Pokemon TCG – only one ACE SPEC card total in a deck. But with something like "I listed this Pot of Greed on eBay, I'm not just selling you a card, I'm selling you the ability to play it in tournament where no one else will be able to", you could easily see shit like that hit five figures.

  5. Yeah I remember these $40 Maxx Cs. Ironically I wanted a Maxx C back then but I was jobless so I barely had any money but I had to choose between getting Maxx C or an "X" videogame. Can't blame me. Like you said, how would have we known it was going to skyrocket in price.

  6. Crown jewl of my collection is a mint 1st Ed ghost rainbow dragon… I opened it as a kid and took pretty good care of it, I've been offered up to 1k for it but I'd have trouble letting it go

  7. I brought my first YGO card in 20 years after getting the passion back from youtubers such as yourself after finding my old stash back in the day during lockdown, striving to stay productive. And I went with what looked to be the best for my bucks.

And it's nice to even see Cimoo break rule for halo effect on specifically this queen,
    A 1st Edition Ghost Rare
    Black Rose Dragon.

    Easily series' most beautiful dragon.

    Thank you for sharing yours!

  8. My son used to collect the original Yu-Gi-Oh cards and knew the difference between real and fake ones. He had a friend give him 4 full dresser drawers worth of cards. His mom tore every single one up save for the one and only card she'd missed. All because he accidentally broke a 2 cent figurine she had.

  9. GX era ultis definitely some of my favorite cards of all time. I’ve collected a lot of them since I’ve gotten older but Nepthys and Horus LV 8 were both cards I pulled when I was young. Still have them, can’t keep from collecting more of that era of card.
