  9. Don't feel bad about forgetting Echo. Think of it this way, he was dead for years, some people know he was alive in 2015, other's came to know in 2020, but he died in 2011, and for a long time, he just was not part of any major story. Even when the Bad Batch is introduced in Clone Wars, you are introduced to the team, and you spend two whole episodes with them doing cool stuff on their own. The Bad Batch has 4 members: Hunter, Wrecker, Tech, and Crosshair, they're all unique and distinct. Even with his defection, Crosshair effectively gets replaced by Echo, but because he just doesn't play as major part of the story, Crosshair's still a member of the Bad Batch, and because Omega's around, too, she steals some of the spotlight, too. It's not your fault, it's just how the story has played out in real time. You brain's still adjusting to the fact that he's back, and it doesn't help he isn't being utilized to his fullest potential.

  10. I wonder if something went wrong when they dialed up Crosshair’s chip and that’s why they took it out. And maybe without many Kaminoans to consult with, they’ll try it again… with disastrous results. Maybe that’s what has Rex leaving the Rebellion with Wolff and Gregor.

  19. I do wish there were ongoing young reader or YA series still. Growing up, I LOVED the Junior Jedi Knights and Jedi Apprentice series before I started reading the adult novels. Certainly those books are still available to read, but it would be nice to have a series about, say, Jacen Syndulla coming out regularly.

  20. Q&A: Did you think Cody in Mandalorian season 3 after he went AWOL in The Bad Batch season 2? Will Cody will meets Din djarin and Grogu as he mentioned his general kenobi? Did Cody join Bo katan's resistance movement in his story in The Bad Batch season 2 before he become a Mandalorian?

  24. Wow! Thanks you guys for taking the time to answer my question, and especially for even considering bringing it up in the future at some point! It was a possibility that just popped into my head while playing some of the older FF games and watching Bad Batch in short succession.

  25. – For a Mandalore watch list, I definitely see this as a good minimum but I would argue there's room for more. You skipped out of the "Corruption" arc of TCW Season 3, it doesn't really have as much of an overt relevance as the episodes with Death Watch, but if you can handle the slower and more political episodes I think it does flesh out the political climate on Mandalore some more that kind of helps flesh out why it was so easy to have everyone turned against Satine. Part of me DOES want to suggest the rest of the Siege of Mandalore too, not just because it's great but also because I just feel funny leaving an arc unfinished (let's say something like Shattered has some stuff on Mandalore still, and IDK we confirm why Maul's not around anymore and we see the Empire spawn lol). Rebels wise there were some more Mandalorian themed episodes in Season 2 and early 3, I'm not sure they really add to the larger Mandalore story that much besides stuff like introducing Fenn Rau and Gar Saxon but yeah.

    – I do like the Barriss and Ventress season of Tales of the Jedi pitch, especially with the crossing over part. One getting better and one getting worse, though IDK if it would exactly follow that because Ventress WAS a Jedi for a while before turning dark, though I guess there's also the whole idea of a Barriss redemption story. Though I mean, turning dark only to find a rough road back to the light is still kind of a parallel, hopefully Barriss lives though.
    I guess I'm mainly into this just because of the Barriss aspect, I think if her character was fleshed out a bit more and she was made more sympathetic her story would end up being less controversial. I want to see her spend more time with Ahsoka, and I think seeing something like Luminara meeting Barriss after she's imprisoned could be interesting, because they are pretty close. Seeing more examples of war and Jedi that made her feel ignored and desperate (we DID see she was on Umbara in the opening for that arc, she likely heard about Krell's machinations and massacre), it could also arguably mirror the Dooku stuff. If that's sort of the starting structure, I'd follow it from something around the temple bombing either as the climactic story, or something following it up where we see her later, likely around Order 66.
    Ventress I think could have a structure of something like Jedi years > fall > redemption, but you risk not only retconning Dark Disciple but also Jedi Lost. THAT BEING SAID… I know many people who don't like Dark Disciple and especially its ending (I'm not a fan of the ending either, Ventress' death was kinda fridgey AND it was the cliche redemption equals death thing, lol), so I have a feeling some people would be HAPPY about changes. Thing is… we know Filoni has already thought about Ventress coming back to life somehow, because she was considered for Star Wars Resistance. They could play the story out mostly the same, but then Filoni can cheat George Lucas' idea and basically show oops she actually cheated death somehow, lol. IDK, point being, I think the retcon discourse would actually be more complicated than normal.

    – I'm pretty sure the clone Purge Troopers were the last/youngest clones they had available, and Ferren Barr took a gamble to assume that because they were new, Order 66 wasn't activated in them.

  32. I really don't think they revisit the ST until the Grogu story wraps so he can return and work with/ against Rey

    The main SW visuals and story is the streaming shows, let that play out (and also go read the High Republic)

  35. I think the clone troopers since order 66 that went rogue I think after the replacement of clone many of them will be gone some will get clone rebillion but palpatine will keep 501 clone Vader fist.
