My uncle and his friends was in a elk hunt in Alaska they got surrounded by a pack of wolfs my uncle cut a leg off the elk and gave it to the pack and left the wolfs took the leg let them go on there way back home
This is a nice story, but very unlikely, as most animals trapped in these traps eventually will gnaw at their leg enough to get free.
