I don't know a lot about WW2 but one thing I do know: Germany COULD NOT WIN.
The high command did not "make way too much mistakes" or "were madmen". Of course they did not do everything right, but since they started in a doomed position they actually got really far. I'd say it were the allies who were idiots (at the beginning at least) and if THEY were smarter the war wouldn't have lasted this long or never escalated so far in the first place.

Entertaining but inaccurate
The Soviets would have been his best ally and their leaders were actually very similar. It was a poor choice to attack instead of allying.
I work under a very uneducated redneck dude who learns by taking things apart and figuring out what they do. He didn’t finish school, from the looks of his writing seeing him spell very as varry, I don’t think he even went to grade school. But he can fix almost anything, he redneck rigs it all up in some insane and often very annoying ways.
Well his sister is a tarot card reader and she said because of his hand line that he will become rich. So he believes her and has been buying and writing down lottery numbers for years now. He actually gets a bunch of them right. Contrary to popular belief there is a little pattern to the numbers. After looking over the years he has written them down, certain spots rarely have numbers below or above a certain number. Like the first row is almost always a low number, often single digits or lower double digits. There’s a decent amount with similar patterns but it’s not overly repetitive. I wouldn’t try to do it, but he truly believes he’s gonna win one day lol

I notice this video is a bit misleading.
1. Invading the soviet was a must because he needed the natural resources it had to offer. It wasn’t a dumb choice, what he did wrong was thinking he could invade the soviet before winter, which he could not. During spring, everything became very muddy which made sending supplies all the way to Moscow very expensive and hard.
2. Stalin knew a German invasion would come, but he didn’t know when. Stalin didn’t believe his generals when they said they were being invaded.
Hitlers biggest mistake was probably not listening to his generals, and trying to take on the war himself.
No. Germany never had the slightest chance. Maybe they could have held Europe hostage for a while, like the USSR did (partially), but fighting the US? the US could throw several of every type of machine (ships, planes, tanks, …) for each one belonging to Germany, and still comfortably come out on top. The US military was and still is just ridiculous.

He should've listen! Because of him we've lost the war and stood under communism…but hey: we won't let this happen again, we won't let Putin take over as Stalin did! We've lost the war once and won't let that happen again; we've learned from mistakes – NO to communism!!!
Real reason: serious lack of fuel and terrible logistics (also fighting against the UK, USA and USSR at the same time while also babysitting Italy and on top of that keeping up occupying forces in the whole of europe doesn’t really help)
