According to David Paulides and the Missing 411: The Hunted documentary, evidence for Bigfoot exists. They don’t openly say it, but one can read between the lines of Ron Morehead’s comments at the Sierra Camp. In 1972, he and Al Berry recorded what has become known as “the Sierra Camp Tapes”, a series of recordings of odd, near human vocalizations high in the mountains. However, unlike most sasquatch “evidence”, theirs has passed scientific muster, at least accordin to Dr. R. Lynn Kirlin, formerly of the University of Wyoming.
To be clear, Paulides has never claimed Bigfoot is responsible for those who go missing…but he doesn’t seem to have ruled it out either. Perhaps bigfoot actually is the “411” that’s missing (411 is another term for information). Welcome back to The Lore Lodge…

Ok, the vocal patterns and pitch goes out the window when trying to change voice or voice act. Voice actors are able to perform way over what would be considered normal range. This all means if a man tried to make all this up they could change voice to recreate this. Not good evidence. To be it all hoaxes or misinformation or identification.

Of course the big foot beings are human hybrid beings and it's been here for a while since I've been in the American Forests and yes it's a big deal for the American people who are big foot investigation and yes you will hear the very first time the very sounds like the humans and it's true meaning is really that we should get together and try to get together and try to find out what happens next time you go to the American park's and woods and Forest. I just found your site. I'm a Bigfoot agnostic, I guess you could say. I'm open but skeptical. So much of what passes as "research" is unverified speculation but the evidence is fascinating because some of it is fairly compelling. So I appreciate your even-handed analysis here.
Scientifically speaking, my background is physics. The more recent trend of "portal" speculation doesn't fit any kind of research or theoretical physics that I'm aware of and doesn't seem reasonable with the biological concerns people have regarding the more legitimate evidence we have. I also have a background in theology and the "spirit being" speculations don't fit what would pass as sound theology of any religious group that I know of. My honest opinion is similar to what you landed on there at the end, that we may have an ancient hunter-gatherer population of feral humans that have adapted to living in a harsh environment without much shelter or the need to cook or sterilize their water so that they can be more mobile in their hunting and gathering. That seems most likely if we are assume these creatures exist as have been reported by witnesses.
Missing people is not an intellectual property so claiming that anyone is a fraud for relating to Paulides's work is absurd. If anything people should be encauraged to spread his message and the word about his work. First it could help people figuring out what's going on – which I highly doubt since the reasons for the missiing people cases he had isolated are most obviously of paranormal nature and that domain is higly censored, ignored and gate-kept – but stil, it can't do damage. Second – it's good for David because more people know about him and his work. And also spreading word about Paulides could potentially even save lives if people start being a bit more cautious when going alone in wild places like national parks. Hiking in wilderness is not a joke.
Although Paulides won’t say what he thinks is causing the Missing 411 phenomenon, he has said that he doesn’t think the cause is bigfoot.

David Paulides is wack. No one shares the podiums with him, he doesn't talk to anyone, never works with anyone, just cooks up stories and sells em. He was a cop, bla bla bla, so what. Not a reason to trust him, if anything, it's a reason NOT to believe him. I live in this area, up north of there, and I've heard this story before. … It's whatever. … Nothing equates experience. I've camped a lot, and slept under the stars night after night hiking, a LOT. PCT… a LOT… more than most, and I will say that I won't camp in the woods here unless I have to. It's too quiet. Cat Creek Road Hwy 88. Same sht in Calavaras/Big Trees. … These sounds are sounds. Someone in the woods could make these sounds, why would anyone assume anything about them?
The Sierra Camp tapes are pretty obviously just some type of animal vocalizing. My first thought was birds – owls can make eerie calls similar to those – but it could also be a social four-legged critter.
Wild humans would also be animals, so I am 100% correct no matter what.

Some interesting tidbits.
The stone skin / becoming stone is universal. Predates European contact and can be found in the mythologies of South American peoples, African tribes, and Asian nations as well as in the well recorded mythologies of Europe. The most famous are the gnome/little people legends from the North Atlantic regions (Scandinavia, Ireland, Labrador etc) who are said to 'become stones' or sink into them for protection. It's extremely interesting that this strange 'ability' to blend into the background is repeatedly cited as a defense mechanism when describing all sorts of 'cryptids'. So, most definitely incorrect with your European contact hypothetical. Also, would ask you to respect Christian natives / 1st nations. They/We are no less members of our people or ethnicity because we have chosen to name our Children within our faith.

I think both. Both a feral peoples slowly moving away from humanity and a gorilla like animal that walks upright exist.
The thing is, there are a lot of stories that’d make more sense with a human variant but there also a bunch of stories where the behavior and morphology is completely that of an animal or the size difference is too great to be explained by it merely being a taller hominid.
This also explains why some encounters say it was basically just a hairy man but others give details about completely inhuman features.
Plus it’s not a binary either or, one does not preclude the other being possible. They are found all over the continent, any single region could be an example of one without having any impact on what’s in a different region.
Plus you’re glazing over a bunch of different stories and evidence, for example you specifically mention the ones that have narrow feet but don’t mention the ones that have much wider feet proportionally.
But maybe that’s all in other videos on the subject that I just haven’t seen.
Those sounds remind me of sounds alot of monkeys in rain forrests. Idk if I'd say they are speech necessarily but definitely wild monkey sounds.
