Eight American Tracks We Want To See In Sim Racing

The United States of America is home to some of the best road courses, or racing circuits, in the world. But, not every track is recreated in a legal licensed fashion within racing games and sim racing. So, here are eight venues, both new and old, road, street or oval – plus one hillclimb – we’d love to see recreated in current, contemporary, driving platforms.

All are within the USA, and all, we think, aren’t represented enough in virtual racing.

Here’s the thing though – these are just a few of our suggestions, there are many more we could cover in a future video, so please let us know in the comments below!

  1. This really should become a series, and there are so many great road courses that could be featured. In Texas alone, you have Eagles Canyon Raceway, MSR Houston, and MSR Cresson, as well as the upcoming G2 Motorsports Park. But, there are tracks like the Utah Motorsports Campus, Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park, Brainerd, Thermal Club, NOLA, and so many more. Heck, even Sonoma is absent from most sims these days, and that is one of the most legendary tracks on the west coast!

  2. I'm a local to St Pete, they have about 2 weeks before the race and about a week after where the track is shut down. It's easily for them to scan the track during the set up phases, surprised they haven't

  3. I would submit a few entries from here in NJ and NY as well to this list. NJ Motorsports Park in Millville, NJ and Monticello Raceway in Monticello, NY. Both are fantastic Road courses with extra curriculum.

  4. Virginia International Raceway is another great one that doesn't get a lot of attention I feel like, but I only play ACC so maybe its better represented in iracing or some other games
