After like two solid weeks of non-stop editing, it’s finally out: the next Project Moon video! Set in a branch office of the original Lobotomy Corporation, this comic follows three workers as they try to survive in the harsh realities of the company. Will they survive the constant dangers, or will they perish like so many other employees?

I tried a LOT of experimental stuff in this video. From covering a comic as opposed to a game, to having a voiced scene (thanks friend, you know who you are), to injecting some of my own small bits of writing at the start and the end, this video is kind of a hodgepodge of concepts and work from me. Please, give me some feedback on what you think worked well, and what I need to work on more in the future.

In terms of video stuff, I’m trying to get two videos out a month from now on, this being the first. The next one will be an Arknights double feature comparing and contrasting Twilight of Wolumonde and Mansfield Break. Hopefully, it’s nowhere near as long as this monster of a video was, I’m so incredibly tired after doing nothing but working on this during my off days. Please do all the usual youtube stuff, like, comment, sub, yadda yadda to get this out there. Also, Library Brief Summary next month, I swearsies.

  1. Talking about symbolism, Taii ends up wearing the pale rose and tainting it blue, transforming himself into a Blue Prince wearing a Blue Rose "representing an unreachable, unattainable and unrequited love."

  2. Wow! It's incredible to see both a Lobotomy Corporation review drop recently in the year of 2023, and now I get to see your video talking about Wonderlab too. I'm glad you enjoyed Wonderlab so much and it really makes the hours I spent editing and typesetting the English version feel worth it. Thank you very much for making a video like this, and I hope you enjoy the rest of Library of Ruina and eventually Limbus Company!

P.S. As a bonus, I did hoof up a video about a year ago showing off a little bit of the work process for producing the English version, if you happen to be interested in that: https://youtu.be/RX-DHuwT_g8.

  3. Don't know why it took me so long to realize this whole series is just coming to terms with South Korea's nightmarish work culture. So, capitalism. Well, "just" sounds demeaning, but understanding where somebody is coming from is as important as the text itself. Like how knowing the psychology of middle-class precarious anxiety explains why Americans have loved zombie stuff, love zombie stuff, and likely will always love it as long as things stand as they are. This video is an absolutely beautiful work of transformative art of its own.

  4. Not sure if anyone has said this before, but I am pretty sure Titania and Nobody Is will come back in Limbus
    It fits too perfectly
They got trapped inside the rubble of a LC Branch
Which is exactly the places we will be visiting in Limbus
Though I dont think they will be an abno like the others, taking into account they are 2 abnormalities essentially working together or fusing
I think they might be more of an actual character, a more unique encounter even among abnormalities
Similar to how in Library you have both Abnos and guests that are Bosses

  5. I don't think that the angela clone is weird, in LC, angela only talk about how to run the company and evaluates your competence for the first 20 day, it would make sense that these first 20 would be used to evaluate every branch office manager

  6. Loved Wonderlab, 9/10 overall. Only missing 1 point is the fact that it actually does end. I liked Leviathan (Limbus Company's Tie-In) but I stopped reading it because I preferred the manga over the light novel version of it. Good summary video overall. 👍

  7. I'm so happy to see so many nice videos about project moon's universe as of lately, it's really cool to see that the games and stories are getting the recognition they deserve !

  8. Kind of hope that we get a leviathan video in February after the library of ruina video because of how close the release of lambus company is getting.

Edit note: What surprised me upon reading the entire webcomic was that one of the regular unnamed employees survived all the way to the White Nights and Dark Days event and it's making me hope that there's at least a partial reference to that in future Project Moon material because they look like the type to be employee of the month.

  9. 32:00 wait does the working employee gain the EGO gift from working and then attacks themselves? Or does need someone else with the gift to attack the working employee? if so that means if no one has the gift nothing happens.

  11. Assuming that it didn't move, due to the ending of Library of Ruina, it might be a high level area for Limbus Company, along with a branch with an aberration stronger than the original abnormality.

  12. One neat little detail is that the colour of the necktie on the E.G.O suit corresponds to the damage type of the same abno's E.G.O weapon, so looking at the disciplinary team's ties tells us that: Rose's E.G.O from White Lake deals red damage, Tai's E.G.O from My Sweet Home deals white damage, Katt uses the E.G.O weapon of Bottle Of Tears however both of their E.G.O suits have black ties also, Finn's E.G.O (possibly from a Forsaken Murderer aberration judging from the black straps and the shape of the axe E.G.O weapon being similar to Forsaken Murderer's hammer E.G.O weapon) deals red damage and Ella's E.G.O has a teal tie meaning it deals pale damage.

Also you can tell most of the cast's E.G.O origins from their designs, Purin has Red Queen's E.G.O gear, Dal has the Drowned Sisters E.G.O gear, Rza has Scaredy Cat's E.G.O, Toma has Penitent Girl's E.G.O gear, Joe has Blue Smocked Shepard's E.G.O gear, Beebi's E.G.O gear comes from an aberration of Queen Bee, Daisy has Pygmalion's E.G.O, Suho's E.G.O seems to be from an aberration of Little Prince and Shasha's E.G.O comes from Reddened Buddy, the only ones we don't know the origins of are Ella's E.G.O gear and Kookie's E.G.O gear.

  13. Great job on the video! I’m not sure if anyone else has mentioned it yet but I loved how you used some of music from different Alice in wonderland games in the analysis (from the wonderland world in Kingdom Hearts to American McGee’s Alice) it was a nice touch

  14. Bro watching that voiced scene was so out of nowhere and i enjoyed it so much now i wish there was somoene who would fully dub wonderlab but i must ask what was the music playing during that segment?

  15. It was amazing! Project Moon's games are a bit too difficult for me to play, hehe (I've completed roughly the half of Lobotomy Corp), but I love hearing everything about them, the lore is so fascinating! Thank you thank you, your style of making videos is great, they're funny, informative and easy to follow 😀 I actually like that you include both factual information and your opinions, it's a perfect balance imo!

  16. Would love to hear more about the part you mentioned about weird world disconnects between this and LoR since I was also playing that while reading and noticed a lot of the same things. Though a lot of it for me was minor and visual like the too nice and normal looking way the city is depicted or Rose being able to just look into the outskirts from her balcony.

Great video though, can't wait for the Ruina one even though that sounds like an undertaking

  17. A very good video!
Though I don't quite agree with the point regarding the staining rose. I could absolutely see something like this as an abnormality in Lobotomy corp, in fact, when its nature was revealed, I initially thought it was an extreme aberration of We can change anything, as it follows exactly those mechanics, sacrificing an employee for energy, the only differences being, that the process of sacrifice happens over several days rather than at once and that the abnormality can't simply be ignored.
That being said, I do understand why one would think otherwise, Rose being killed by an abnormality in the shape of a rose….it's not very subtle.

  18. Neat spoiler notes for people not wanting to finish Library of Ruina:

    1. Taii is the second, maybe third person (After Angela and Geb) to awaken their ego. What confuses me is that in LOR, Angela specifically says that only people who are “selfish “ can manifest ego, with doesn’t seem like Taii sooooo

    2. What Catt turns into at the end of wonder lab is a distortion, basically when a really emotionally heavy person gets to emotional, they distort and basically become a human abnormality. Catt is the first case of distortion that occurs, however no one really figures it out because she’s suppressed so fast.

    3. The voice that Catt hears right before distorting is actually Carmen, who for some reason stopped being so angelic and nice and causes pretty much all of the distortions that we know of.

    4. The terrible disaster that I occurs when all 4 magical girls break out is the jester of nihil, a boss in LOR. The jester of nihil, and by extent the magical girls, are actually based off a suite of playing cards.
