Instagram- AdamTheWooATW No filming was allowed on 90% of the tour so had to go the photo route . Really loved this tour . Thought about scrapping this video but decided next best thing was showing my day
The line about "it happens" after some guy stepped in poop wasn't a car crash scene or filmed on the lot. It was during one of the Forest's running sequences out on location.
I took the Paramount tour in 1991 and again in 1997. I'm going back to L.A. later this year and might try to take the VIP tour and see what's different. I think the Universal tour is kinda of a wasted opportunity, and the Warner Brothers tour (which I've also done two or three times) focuses more on branding than the studio itself. My favorite part of the WB tour and the Paramount tours, though, has been seeing the plaques outside the stages to see what has been shot there. Paramount, however, has quite a few misspellings and incorrect dates on their plaques. They need a Quality Control Department to review all that stuff.
The same trip I did the WB tour (2019) I also did the Paramount VIP tour. I would agree that Paramount is more old Hollywood. But did enjoy both. The hotel/motel I stayed at was on Vine so I was within walking distance of Paramount, which was nice.
I used to go to that rock and roll Dennys back in the late 80's, early 90's. I definitely saw and talked to a lot of rock stars. A lot was just starting to make it big. I wish I would of got a lot of autographs back then but I didn't. I'm kicking myself in the ass for it now.
Dad bought a car to restore. Was owned by Cecil. After digging through all its paperwork’s. Wonder how much time it spent parked at any of the studios. He finished a frame up on it.
Thank you so much for stopping at Chris Cornell’s final resting place. He’s my favorite singer and it’s been five years since he passed away, a terrible shock to his family and millions of fans. I also loved seeing Paramount Studios, a tour my late husband and I took back in the late 1970’s. We were lined up just inside the original main entrance when Michael Landon in full “Little House on the Prairie” costume stopped within feet of us as he was having a conversation with someone. Everyone remained respectful and left the two of them alone and it was quite a thrill. Strangely, earlier tonight I watched on YouTube an old Johnny Carson video from 1973 (?) with Don Rickles and Michael Landon and he said his “Little House” movie was going to be made into a series. We all know what a major hit that was! Thanks for the memories. My husband and I were together 45 years and we spent many vacations in Malibu, Venice Beach, Santa Monica and the LA area. 🥲😢
Adam, you need to upgrade the technology used in your videos, they look the same for years and years, I bet you use the same camera, you don’t even bother to transfer your photos to the computer to integrate in the videos, showing them from your phone is really boring and inappropriate, many YouTubers are using 4K cameras, gimbals, microphones, drones, graphics etc.
Does anyone remember a dinner on Melrose it was like cafeteria dinning a lot of the folks from the studio would stop in for a meal.this was back in the 70s.
Used to work as a tour guide at Paramount in the late 90s. Seems like much hasn't changed. The tour is heavily geared towards those that are into Hollywood history. Was very difficult to entertain those that would take the tour expecting to hear about modern productions. The one cool thing was being able to take people on the sets of the day like Fraiser, Soul Train, Entertainment tonight.
Done all the tours in Hollywood Paramount vip was our favourite by a mile .. Sony was just ok WB was good .. could be so much better Universal was very good But room for improvement too
Fun facts, Paramount Pictures had an animation studio division formerly called Fleischer Studios, the company behind Betty Boop cartoons and even Screen Songs and King Features' Popeye series. When Paramount sold the entire Fleischer animators after a negotiation due to Fleischer brother's problems, they renamed the studio as Famous Studios (later shortly as Paramount Cartoon Studios in 1956). Famous Studios for its best known for it's famous Harvey Entertainment toons (now currently owned by Universal Pictures through DreamWorks Animation's DreamWorks Classics aka Classic Media) and even Popeye series continuation until 1957 and even DC Comics' Superman shorts from Fleischer Studios to Famous Studios in 1941 to 1943 (although the entire Popeye and Superman shorts are now currently rights belongs to Warner Bros. under both Turner Entertainment with exclusive licensed from Hearst Holdings for Popeye shorts, and DC Comics, WB's parent company who owns most of Superman characters since 1967).

I enjoy your videos. So weird to watch your videos and get excited about seeing locations on TV, that I have watched on TV..lol

You don't need a higher octane. 87 is what is needed for regular cars

She’s a distraction from your daily woo. I’m not interested anymore.

Did you bought the cheaper tour of Paramount Studios or another more expensive?
Sorry Adam! Desilu studios were in Culver City! Not by the Paramount Studios!

Just finished watching The Offer on Paramount Plus. I’d love to take this tour.
You guys said “RCO” but I think you meant RKO Studios (Desilu)
Very disappointed on your sloppy manual slides presentations, some of photos are out of focus
Why's the Gladiators Throne at Paramount? Gladiator was a Universal release if I remember.
Love old Hollywood. Thanks for the tour.
Oh, for those pre Brandon gas prices.

I’m a fan of Paramount! And I’m also a fan that of Nickelodeon
stage 18 had star trek in it for years
and those gates used to lead down to the prop house … miss working there..
