  2. That was a great video and I was often laughing out loud. The stile did the job, Willie, never mind the bad tools! If you live in the wilds you learn to adapt and you all make it look easy! Love seeing Jack enjoying himself too. Happy New Year to you both xx

  6. Your video is absolutely amazing! That scenery was beautiful and stunning! We visited Fairy Pools when we were holidaying on Skye a few years ago! Unfortunately my arthritis prevented me from getting to the top as jumping over those huge rocks became impossible and unsafe! Stunning area and my husband got all the way up! Loved the hammock footage! Glad you enjoyed your fish x

  8. Being both a Fifer and a long time lover of visits to Skye, your adventures have taken me back in time to some great times staying at Carbost, Dunvegan and Staffin. Neist point is one of my all time favourite places and good luck to you both and Jack of course on your adventures.

The tune should be called Jack's ramble!

  10. Funny you are having a steak pie on New Years day, I am having beef and onion pie home made on 17/01/2023. I wish you both and Jack Spaniels a very prosperous, happy, healthy Blessed adventure's year for 2023. Love your videos. I did not know Skye was so beautiful and interesting. The view is spectacular and your cinematography is outstanding. I agree with jillychandler to call the music piece 'set yourself free' after watching you hike to the fairy pool and hiking up the mountain that piece of music was certainly about setting yourself free in the open air. Have a great day.

  11. Another great episode 👏 I love the Old Inn when visiting Skye, a great pub. Cracking Pollock too, I find Pollock and cod benefit from a light salting for an hour or so before cooking to firm them up as they can be a bit mushy when so fresh. Looking forward to the next one 🙌

  12. Looks like you had a great new year, check with the neighbour but ideally you'll want to put a little copper pipe lagging over the barbed wire where you step over, we've lost count of the number of waterproofs we've ripped just leaning over our fence to get the post before we put some in place with cable ties holding it firm. I bet those fish you caught was delicious!

  14. Love the door open and close, presumably in the wind, as Willie prepped the stile wood. …Or…was it the ghost of a resident past?!! Fishing net hammock…I'm up for that! You guys are having too much fun! Thanks for sharing Skye.👍😎🇨🇦🐾📷💜🎨🎵

  15. Stunning video 🤩 what views .. we 'tried' the Fairy Pools in Sept 2021 sadly it was way too flooded for us to get over the stones at the beginning .. but we will return one day. I think you've found heaven guys 🤩🤩 Big Hugs to Jack what a beauty 🤩

  17. Hello Willie, Sarah and Jack! Happy New year to you too belatedly. Hope you see my comment as I'm sure you get hundreds. Wanted to say I love your videos, been watching a while but first comment (sorry). Skye is a very special place for me and my family and we go most years whenever we can. We were there in November just before the snow and you're right Fairy Pools are gorgeous and so peaceful especially out of season when the island is much calmer.
Love seeing your trips as I recognise a lot of places we like to go when we are there. Also Lewis and Harris are amazing Sarah you both must visit and take Jack to the beaches there.
As for the song I'd suggest – Song To The Stile 😊👌🏻
Look forward to the next one guys.
