I didn't actually dislike the pacing for my first playthrough, but the pacing does make subsequent playthroughs a bit of a drag IMO

Honestly don't play Judgement until After Yakuza 6, it's not really connected but going back to play the older ones might take the enjoyment out of the older ones. Also, the timeline of them is 0,1,2,3,4,5,6, Judgment, 7 like a dragon, Lost Judgment, Like a dragon the man who erased his name which will come out later this year, and Inshin you can play after 6 or judgment. Just not before 5. For story and character spoilers.
Plus 3-5 are older games so playing newer like judgement with new fresh controls it's harder to enjoy the older ones more like 3-5.
