  1. with a significant game release like this we think it's important to take a moment and say thank you very much for watching us throughout these years. Much appreciated. Hope these videos help.

  2. I've found your reviews to be insightful, detailed enough to be very informative without being so long that it gets tedious, fair and accurate. When I want a game review before I buy, yours has become my go-to.

  3. No spoiler, but i personally liked the ending more in the first game where it was really both physical and emotional culmination. On other parts this games is bigger badder and crazier for sure 😉

  5. My first encounter with GOW is when i got my ps5 ( i didn't hv a ps4 before) , played it for free, and it just blew me away, platinumed it, the best game ever no doubt.

So i bought ragnarok on day 1, it easily surpasses its predecessor on almost every area.
the only problems it has is probably expectations, not easy to overcome the 1st game epicness.

Ragnarok has this one level that really2 really2 blew me away, the epicness is off the scale….

i hope to see this 2 games of God of war is remastered / remade with full ray tracing to uplift the visual further for ps6 or high end PCs in the future

( don't think the ps5 pro will be much2 more powerful than ps5 due tu limitations of AMDs ray tracing cores )

Anyway, ragnarok is a must buy at full price ( even tho it could've be priced at ps4 prices )

  6. I love this game the only thing i really hate about it is always having a enemy attacking me when im focusing on another enemy. “Watch your back brother” enemy behind you” to the left” it gets so annoying like freya/atreus do something about it then lol but no i have to press square while im attacking so they can help out

  7. I’m a huge fan of the series since 2005 and I’ve beaten them all including ps versions of the psp games. Honestly, I am not as hyped for this game as I was for the every single one of them before. I didn’t buy this one as soon as it came out but just last night. It’s now downloaded and ready to play but I still am not crazy curious, I don’t know why. Maybe it’s the extreme familiarity in looks to the 2018 game which I absolutely fell in love and beaten twice. Anyway, I will of course play this one and finish it off too and hopefully and most probably enjoy a lot. Let’s see..

  8. This game is awesome but flawed.
Graphics are awesome but the facial details never blew me away beyond Kratos.
The combat is simple yet has depth. But one to many enemies didn't even take damage because the game decided they needed to be harder before they died.
Freya is a true goddess in every way except that one boss fight when I had to turn off her volume down just so I could concentrate…
    Its a real 8/10

  9. One thing 2018 and Ragnarok did that I really respect is they didn't throw away Kratos' story from the original trilogy. In this age of reboots, it would have been easy to take the easy road out and say new mythology means different story. Instead, Sony Santa Monica took the difficult path and did so at such a high level that Kratos' overall story arc is phenomenal. While you don't need to play the original trilogy to understand this story, doing so will surely benefit the emotions you feel at the end of Ragnarok

  10. Uh.. funny idea but I just turned off the music in GOW and searched for "epic battle orchestra music" to play in the background. Changed the experience entirely.

Maybe a list of "Games that feel completely different if you change the soundtrack" would be interesting?

  11. The only thing I didn’t like about this game was the map for Vanaheim, every corner looks almost identical and the map itself is shaped like a puzzle, and add the fact that their are only so few fast travels unlike Midgard. So it ends up getting quite difficult to backtrack in.

  12. Just got a PS5 for Christmas, the console came with this game, and my girl got me Callisto protocol PS5 as well. I'm stoked to play both these games on my new Next gen console, other of my PS4 titles look insane on the new system, I love my PlayStation, best present ever !!!

  15. Gotta say I'm disappointed with this review. I found the game to be repetitive and quite boring. The combat lacks impact and the graphics seems compromised to fit the older system ps4… The squeezing through caves and the animations for going over obstacles made the movement so disjointed and clunky…. Meanwhile the facial animations left a lot to be desired, having played a game like last of us 2 , what?, Three years ago ?! I put the game aside in favor of a replay of Ghost…
