Hahaha "Let's get it on!" I haven't tried this yet but I get super excited when I see any products with Dragonlance these days so I will have to check it out. They were smart going with Autumn Twilight and the red dragon (Ember I think?) as their theme – because if the coffee tastes burnt or bitter, it makes perfect sense!

A whiskey when aged in a sherry cask (for example) picks up the flavour because it is a liquid. The falvours in the wood seep into the fluid and are shared around (phrasing I know).
But with dry beans that have no liquid, wouldn't the falvour only rub off on the beans on the outer layer touching the cask? Do they soak their beans in a liquid in the cask prior to drying and roasting?
Coffee is just too complicated (Grumbles Old Man Andrew).
I have it in my head that on Krynn there is no coffee. I seem to recall that they drink roasted chicory. Am I wrong? Well either way, I'm totally buying Dragonlance coffee and mug.
The coffee has the original cover of Autumn Twilight which features the red dragon Ember and both the keychain and mug have the character images from the three original Chronicles covers in order left to right
