As a longtime independent democratic socialist I see what a complete farce now is " OUR democracy " with its virtually dysfunctional TWO PARTY SYSTEM ( it still functions well enough in the service of greedy , irrational capitalism and the military industrial complex ) . I agree with this comment in today's World Socialist Web Site article :
    "This escalation of class war against the vast majority of the American people is proceeding without any opposition from the Biden administration or the Democratic Party. "
    As for growing FASCISM for years now the " progressive " Democratic Party has promoted the HATE RUSSIA , New McCarthyism. This grandiose " friend of labor " wants working class Americans to get all toxic patriotism excited over a dubiously " sovereign " Ukraine led by the puffed up NATO puppet war monger Zelensky . And nuclear World War III with POST-COMMUNIST Russia. As if working class Americans were not already way up on the social-economic MISERY INDEX along with ruined middle class Americans now in MEGA INFLATION free fall.
    How popular is this Congress of " OUR democracy " ?
