One extra tip: I was surprised to find the little Aquarium rooms on your freighter give lots of carbon by interacting with the blue buttons on the walls — just in case you're running low on carbon or need to make some condensed carbon in your refiner.

Thanks for the video. I enjoy watching you play. After I made the first warp, the frigate mission started. Then I followed the dialog and I was rewarded the frigate fuel plus 3 fuel recipes. Also the ship hyperdrive is rewarded at the end.

I've been playing for a out 80 ish hrs and I have black market life support modules I don't have to carry oxygen around cause it looks like I'm getting solar power which is cool
You always start as anomaly preset 5 in your expeditions, this crazy cool looking soldier astronaut guy while I always start as a the purple gek with a bright blue head 😅
Idk what determines your starting expedition suit but i definitely drew the short straw!
A good new player tip if starting the expedition a few days late is to check the space station teleporter for player bases with either mould or oxygen farms. There will generally be a few around, most commonly in the milestone systems.
I really liked polestar expedition. It gave me a new appreciation for my freighter which is something I've mostly ignored until now. I love the exocraft room that allows you to call your exocraft anywhere
I started this redux last night, I wasn’t going to do this one again but then I watched the video and said to myself “Ok Jason, you’ve twisted my arm, I’ll do this Redux” 😂 I love these expedition series 👍👊
A couple things (really doesn’t matter) but you didn’t catch yourself when you called your freighter a frigate a few times. Also I recommend keeping at a minimum 3 portable refiners on the freighter inventory (as an ultimate Last Resort. This ultimate last resort is to allow you to clone items that you cannot get again or are to hard to obtain within A very limited amount of time. Like if you wanted more chromatic metals or more importantly Warp Hypercores and you don’t have storm crystals but have 1 hyper core. Put rare or impossible item to at present time obtain more of into refiner by itself then drop another refiner or two in the exact same place to clone the item. This event is timed. It’s best not to try your luck the long way around even if your a pro.
I always forget you can use the repair kit to fix that matter transmitter. For some reason I keep thinking that repair kits only work on your starships.
Go to a base called 2 derilect frigates and farms for a great start. In starter system.
"My brain only works at 30 second intervals." Oh, I hear that. Following so hard on the heels of Leviathan, this expedition felt too easy!
Actually, the warp engines and upgrades for your starship are locked in the anomaly for this expedition to force you to take your freighter from system to system.
This was by far my favorite expedition from 2022. I've replayed it a few times now, loads of fun!
How do you start your expeditions with the same character and cool jet boosts and such I always start with a random character and basic things ????????

I just downloaded this game for free yesterday and I was already loving it before this video. Now after this, the little things are making a tonnnnn more sense. Thanks for the “dumb” commentary for us noobies…it helps a lottttt 😂😂😂
