  2. I thought the Stormblade (is it the Stormblade? the big plasma thinggy) would probably not be so great in this match as they are facing Ork and SM, both were pretty good at fielding super heavy infantry. But they did surprisingly well (no doubt helped by that constant cheesecake batch )

  3. Capri the colorful Captain leads his renegades to raid and reave among the spires of an Imperial Hive World. As distraction and cannonfodder he brought along a host of Orks and unleashed a Tyranid Voidship which he had found lifeless in the cold of the void. The Captain has brought many killers onto the Hive World, but if there is one thing the world‘s PDF has never had a shortage of it is bodies to throw at the enemy.

  5. I fear the recent Patch didnt help the 3on3 balance. Imperial lategame is even stronger than SMs lategame now, and Stormblade is such an overkill.

  6. Nokrith was a corrupted planet.
    Not with the taint of beings from beyond reality, but with the subtle genetic infiltrations of a genestealer cult.
    Such an accursed place was isolated. Cut off by raging warpstorms for centuries. Left alone, as alien monstrosities poisoned its soul.
    The cult of the void will had sunk its claws deep into the local imperial population, launching a silent coup and slowly but surely integrating ever more citizens into the 'loving arms' of the void gods. Such was the mastery of the takeover, mechanicus techpriests had been pulled in, providing a wealth of tech to be distributed to the cult's armed forces.
    Even the native population of orks were not free from the clutches of the tyranid organisms, with genestealer ork hybrids cultivated by the cult over generations.
    Despite this, the charade of normalcy was dutifully upkept, preferring to slowly subsume any new obstacle to add to their strength.
    The arrival of the astral lances Battle barge, Hand of dominion, proved to be the largest challenge to the void will's capabilities.
    But trapped within the madness of the warpstorm and reeling from losses after a failed campaign, they ever so slowly infected the marines, until they once again had yet more specialised forces under their sway.
    Eventually, the great storm abated and with it came a most wonderous melody!
    The gods were coming!
    Celebrations rang out in the streets, masses were held and the billions of cult followers prayed to the stars.
    They continued to pray even as the tyranid fleet descended on their world.
    They sung and cheered as civilians leapt heartily into hastily grown digestion pools, unknowing of the fleet's abnormally small size, the severe wounds on the flanks of their bioships nor the reason they avoided devouring the subsumed astartes and orks.
    Unaware of the massive imperial task force headed their way with three simple, brutal objectives:

    Burn the heretic. Kill the mutant. Purge the unclean.

  7. Guns glorious guns, lasguns and plasma;
    Eating hotshot while troopers laugh at ya;

    Guns glorious Guns, our tanks got all of them;
    StormBlade's spit reduces you to phlegm!

    Guns glorious guns; the VPs are counting down;
    Guns so thick tyrants pout, marine cry and orks frown!
    Nice guard win.

  8. Those Plasma Devs seemed to be struggling (The AI) 19:12 you can see Devs start a shot and then cancel it they've done it multiple times in this match too and felt like it might those shots could have changed the tide of a fight

  9. People saying IG is overtuned, but I think blue team had plenty of options mid-late game to deal with IG roster, as they saw they were pumping full infantry.
    There were plenty of options in early : storm shield from FC, devastators with heavy bolter, blob of 2 or 3 termagants with warrior & venom broods with synapse for tyranids, 3 even 4 fully upgraded shoota boys with Big Boss' banner for orks, then going.
    And in mid-late, instead of wasting ressources on melee units and zoanthropes, getting carnifexes with barbed stranglers, flash gitz and/or battlewagon, and a LR to support the firing line.

    Players tend to automatically think that you can't outshoot IG and have to go for melee, but you can mince a lot of models before having to retreat, having won the fight from sheer experience, and doing this in a row to preserve units and ressources.
