It is a private business between a private customer; there are avenues to go through with Amazon to adjust and adjudicate any maleficence. This isn't prescription drugs or any life saving envoy…that is Santa bringing you your shit. Amazon has a very dedicated anti-theft mechanism in place for it's couriers…leave it to them.
Unfortunately this guy is getting backed up in his route and his a contractor thru a contractor and might be docked for this hold up. I hope that Amazon learns the humility of its people and those who provide you your next day service.
Has any Amazon driver stolen anything; irrelevant. Internal investigation. A fortune 5 company doesn't need these thugs to protect them; we need them to protect them against us! -9 years AMZN employee mid level(5), left and fuck em too; went healthcare to sleep at night.
Just an FYI. When digital ID is brought in, they'll be able to read it from the computer in the cruiser. They've been doing it to truck drivers for over a year now. The app on their phone automatically connects with border control and some weigh stations.
So the computers will be picking up and scanning ID whenever a cop drives by your car, the computer will scan everyone's ID. I'm not sure what distance they'll be able to read it at but at least Bluetooth distances.
It shocks me how cops think that people are so stupid as to believe that identifying someone is going to solve the alleged crime in question!
Identification does not determine a current crime has or has not been determined to be committed! It's rediculous for these idiots to think that people are that stupid!

Amazon, FedEx and ups need to suspend package deliveries to residents that use cops as pawns when they falsely accuse them of a crime. Already takes 5 days to deliver my prime package. I am curious to know if cops in others countries are as dumb as most of the stupid pigs are in the US
As a delivery driver for a different company there's a hundred different reasons that you might pick up a package at a door or be "caught" on camera walking away from a house with a package. The person may have scheduled a pickup, you may notice that there is a package that is addressed to a different house possibly delivered the day before by a different driver but being for wanting to be a good employee you take the package so that you can deliver it to the correct house, and or countless other scenarios that would account for why you are carrying a package away from the house. I've even had other companies packages on my truck before but it wasn't because I stole the package it was because I found it along the road and scooped it up so I could take it to their facility so they wouldn't have to deal with an angry customer wanting to know where they're lost package was.
I just don't understand why they think we got a call means nobody has rights and they act like nobody has ever called in to 911 and reported a crime that didn't actually happen.
If I lived in the US (thankfully I don’t) I would buy the strongest LED on the market to shine back at the pigs eyes.
