  1. Twitter: basically, they had $13B worth of actual stuff.

    They were worth $30B on the stock market because the stock market is basically just people betting on how much a company might be worth in the future.

    Elon offered to buy them for $44B. oof.

  5. Is there any way you can explain how ITT tech fell into bankruptcy. I know it had something to do with the American government deeming them unworthy of scholarship money. The news never really explained it very well

    Chrysler is a subsidiary of Fiat last I checked, lol. GM makes brands like GMC, Chevrolet, Holden (Australia) etc.

  15. Simon's grasp of American auto makers is pretty funny, but understandable, esp. given the structure of large companies owning several brands.
    For all of you in a similar world as the Bald Beard: the tiniest American cars sold in Europe and the world are usually not sold in the US. Our smallest models are one size up in most cases, and foriegn companies rarely ship their smallest models here, except the Smart Car and the Fiat 500. Even so I feel like the American Fiat 500 might be bigger than the world version. Maybe?

  27. "people not dieing of covid" … except in china where there's more deceased then the services that deal with that can remotely handle. nobody cares about covid any more? i'm pretty sure they do over there, even if the tyranical goverment tries to cover up the facts (which it absolutely does).

  28. Ah the classic ‘I hate Elon because he’s making Democrats cry’…that’s all it is. Piss on him all you want…but it’s always funny when people try to mock the worlds richest man while pretending they are somehow more intelligent. Twitter is far better now…if you’re stupid enough to think advertisers will forgo advertising space once people stop crying about Twitter like little babies. It’s so pathetic when people are going on about how bad Twitter is…because yeah…the FBI censored Twitter was so good and not full of vitriol. Let’s come back to this video in a few years to see how Twitter is still around and absolutely fine.

  29. Blames the writers for the length of the video and blames the viewers for daring to ask him to go back to the classic standing-up format. It’s called feedback Simon, you don’t have to bow down before the viewers but it’s hardly an outrageous request for viewers to make. Over the years, the arrogance has definitely crept in and it’s starting to show. Luckily, Simon doesn’t give a fuck as he said so let’s not get upset and rush to jump in to say how much you love Simon like some simp morons alright; Or do, and I’ll be more than happy to follow your hero’s example and ignore you because I don’t give a shit about any replies and you can just go read another comment.
