Disney’s Polynesian Village is MORE than a Deluxe Resort. It’s a tropical getaway, a beachside to bask your worldly cares away, and a cocktail/Dole Whip oasis. It’s also the home of an iconic restaurant that serves MOUNDS upon MOUNDS of food, leaving you stuffed to the brim when it’s all said and done. But will the obscene amount of food (along with that obscene price tag) be worth the reservation? Let’s find out!

What about room service…do they still offer that 'feast' as a room service option?
I've wanted to eat at 'Ohana for decades and just a couple weeks ago my wish came true! My daughter got a last minute reservation and surprised me with a birthday dinner! It was amazing…loved everything! My only disappointment was that it felt very rushed especially because I am a slow eater. I understand they have a lot of people seat…just wish I could have relaxed a little more.
I liked the wings better than the noodles and the beef was a bit too spicy for me. The dessert was pretty good, but I prefer the one from Liberty Tree.
Went to DW during the week of Christmas 2021. Was resort hopping at Grand Floridian, took a chance and landed a reservation for Ohana for that afternoon. LUCKY US and SOOOO WORTH the price. I still hurt from eating so much
It's a shame you missed the opportunity to help your viewers correctly SPELL the name of this popular restaurant.
'Ohana (or Ohana)
Not
O'hana
Ohanas
Ohana's
OHana
Just amazing how many butcher this repeatedly…
The honey BBQ wings at the Ohana dinner changed my life. I literally think about them every day and can’t wait to go back on my next trip!
Ohana is my girlfriend and my favourite restaurant in Disney!! Whenever we go to Disney we always eat there at least twice.
I loved Ohana without the characters. They don't need them. It made it more reasonable in price so we were able to eat there twice. Once for breakfast and once for dinner. Loved the food and loved the cheaper price without characters. If they just want to put a character in the hallway instead for people to stand in line to see; that's fine with me. And this way anyone could see a character without having to get a meal there.
I love 'Ohana!!! Always try the waitlist, we went in April, during spring break, and were able to get in twice on the waitlist. The first time less than 1 minute before I got the text our table was ready, second time was a Saturday at 5pm, when it was pouring and everyone left the parks. We waited 15 mins max for a table!
If you feel rushed at Ohana nip it in the bud.
When they start bringing the next course when you've barely started on the one you have give them a firm no.
They'll look startled because nobody does it (except me) but they'll move on.
You are in control and they depend on you being too polite to object when ironically they are anything but.
I myself can't get past the fact they have ruined their great dessert by replacing the bananas foster topping with cheap supermarket caramel sauce.
Oh to have the Ohana of 10 years ago where the food was excellent across the board, you were never rushed and service was impeccable.
Instead of building that motel next door they should build another Ohana so as to double the capacity and return it to the quality it once had. But that might cut in on some top executive's multi million dollar yearly bonus.
Ohana is my family's favorite and two of us are vegetarians! The others eat plenty of meat but my son and I more than fill up on the noodles and other veg options. A win for everyone!
The "60 Days plus the length of your stay" did not work for me when I made reservations for my June trip.
Is there some sort of special thing that I need to do?
"HI I'm people!…lol 👋
My family and I are not big eaters. We never go to buffets or eat big meals because they typically aren’t worth it to us. It does look and sound fantastic. Probably gonna pass. Thanks for the info!!
I just went to Ohana today was an incredible experience. Haven't been to Disney in 20ish year this channel has been a huge life savor. Those noodles and the bread pudding 😍😍 amazing meal and loved the setting/view
How about NOT saying "nudes" repeatedly in a video about a company that is known for its entertainment for young children. No one needs to hear "the nudes need to come over to my house" in a video that features babies and Mickey Mouse.
If you stay at DW and have the meal program, is eating at O'Hana's a part of the eating package? Can you skip two days of dinner meals and use that at O'Hana's?
The besttttt breakfast. We absolutely loved it.
we got a last minute reservation for my birthday last week! i was so excited & it was the best!!
How do you access the secret menu at tambo lounge that has the ohanna offerings?
Its a horror story on multiple greasy plates. The servers and the rest of the staff are wonderful, but the food is not good at all.
Please I’m begging you could you make a best places to drink in Disney world. I’m going for my 21st birthday this July and I need to know! Also my mom is going and has a gluten allergy and I would like to see an updated DFB best gluten free food in the parks and at Disney Springs. PLEASSSEEE GUYS! I’ve asked for months and I’ve been watching sense 2015! And I don’t trust anyone else! Please Obi Wan your my only Hope!
Dinner experience is rushed and they want you out the door as soon as possible. Turn your head for 10 seconds and a busser will sneak up from behind and grab your plate and cup. They want you out even if you still want some sweet noods. Food is good though.
We are headed to WDW in July! We live in the Rocky Mountain West, so I had to be up at my computer at 3:45am this last week! We weren’t going for dinner, but breakfast, and we got it! Yay! We went for breakfast in hopes that characters might come before mid-July! Hopefully they will even add in someone playing Moana. In any case, characters or not we will enjoy (and need to find Stitch somewhere else since he is my kids’ and wife’s favorite!)
AYCE in Disney for $55 is a steal. Anyone tried to get a good AYCE dinner in NYC lately?
We love Ohana we crave it!! Usually we get a walk up day that we are there we go a little too often 😂
It’s just insane to wake up at 5am just to TRY and make reservations for a restaurant that you can eat (and it be much better) elsewhere! How on earth does all of this stress and work when you make it to the park, the sheer cost, crowds and endless waits for EVERYTHING make for any type of an relaxing vacation? Why do so many keep on going here like it’s a drug you just can’t let go when there’s other places you can visit?
Whats a better spot to watch mk fireworks, at O'Hana or the fireworks on mainstreet?
I don't know why I was expecting a lewd meal…
Walk up reservations are definitely possible if you're happy to wait. Watched an Australian vlogger who was over there a few months ago, walk up and they said they'll text them when there's a table available and they were text within 30 minutes. They just walked up the day they wanted. Not sure if the fact they were staying at the Poly helped.
This might be silly but can a kid get a more "kid menu" here? Picky eater. Rest of group is good. But Mac and cheese or fries or anything in the picky eater category? Thanks
I ate at Ohana for Dinner back on 6/15. I tasted some of everything, and it was GREAT.
HOWEVER, I wish I never went to Disney in June for one thing. Even more so I wish I didn’t select Ohana. 6/15 it was SUPER hot, and that was SIMPLY too much heavy food. I barely ate. I sampled everything though. I felt incredibly guilty for wasting soooooo much food. I hate food waste. I definitely did NOT get my money worth at all. It was just my Daughter and I.
Word to the wise try to book your Ohana reservation for your rest/resort day if at all possible.
The service, Atmosphere, and music there was PHENOMENAL though.
It also allowed me to see the Polynesian resort which is way out of my budget!
My most favorite restaurant ever! We're going next week and we have 5 reservations XD 3 dinner and 2 breakfast
I ate at Ohana today for dinner
We had dinner at O'Hana's in 2014 and we absolutely loved it. We had a window side table and could see the fireworks over M.K. There was a lot of food left over, which greatly concerned my daughter. I thought she was going to cry, at the thought of all of that food going to waste. I asked our server about it and he assured us that Disney has contacts who pick up the untouched, uneaten food and disperses it to those who need it. I don't know about their policies since covid. Our favorite foods were the noodles and the pot stickers. ( We couldn't take food back to our room because of not really having a place to keep it, plus we had the full dining plan, so we wouldn't need leftovers. )
FINALLY ate there today, it was incredible, we naturally got sat at the perfect seat that they show a dozen times in this video haha table for 2, right next to the window in front of the pool with the castle view. Unfortunately there was a hurricane today so no fireworks 😅 our server was perfection, the ukulele player made me tear up plucking classic Disney songs. And the food…the bread pudding is the best I have EVER had, that caramel sauce??? It is not too sweet it is packed with flavor and salty as well I was SHOOK. 2nd & 3rd place go to the potstickers & steak, respectively, even though our steak was a tiny bit overdone (they didn’t ask how we wanted it which was fine). I was a teeeeny tiny bit disappointed in the noodles, only because they’ve been soooo hyped up, but I still loved them! They were delicious. There was only 1 thing I did not like: the wings. The meat was perfect I just really wasn’t a fan of the sauce, too salty, but to be fair I’m not a big soy sauce fan and my husband loved the wings. Honorable mention, the crispy skin on the chicken 🤤
Edit: wow Dinner is now $60 only 6 months after this video 😂 geez Disney, nickle & dime
