  1. Thank you for showing California some love with this detailed report! There’s already massive flooding in the Sacramento delta area. Such a shame the levees aren’t properly maintained. Stay safe everyone!

  2. BOMB, CYCLONE, HAMMERED, BLASTED, MONSTER, Me thinks the language of weather reporters has gotten extreme. Sure, it is a big storm, but ever since the klymit chenj narrative all use these kinds of terms. We used to say 'pineapple express', drought relief, welcome snowpack, excellent skiing weather, our beloved winter greening… these terms fell away.. Good Report otherwise.

  3. This rains been kicking in magic mushrooms early. Found a patch recently after the earlier rains thus last week. Looking forward to it.
The flooding socks, hope everyone stays safe, but this is a blessing for our state for sure.

  4. Cyclone?! Well then what you should really be reporting is that California suddenly shifted to another hemisphere on the planet. THAT would be big news. We don't get cyclones or hurricanes here. Is it really worth showing your sensationalistic clickbait ignorance for a couple likes?

  5. This is so typical California. Drought years and then very wet years. The flooding is only a problem because people have established cities in historical flood plains!

  6. I’m from California my whole life, I would like to comment on behalf of the new young people of this state: THIS RAIN IS VERY RACIST! It only attacks marginalized peoples, it destroys the homes of the Un-housed living in the canyons and I drove my E-scooter into a lake and lost my $1500 beats headphones purchased with unemployment money because I don’t know what to do when I see a challenge…. I just drove right in, froze like a deer in headlights and couldn’t move, it was so traumatizing. Someone else needs to be held responsible for this, obviously the rich white male is to blame, in fact all men are to blame – they should be forced to buy me anything I want, we gen Z should not have to work ever again because leaving our safe space video game dens is dangerous like the outside world. I’m going to go watch a movie to calm my panic attacks now, something woke with a strong female lead and a diminished male costar.

  7. Imagine if California's elected officials (Democratic super majority) spent the majority of the time, working on the real needs of California, vs perpetual campaigning, selling out to special interest groups, courting lobbyist, spending taxpayer money with zero accountability and even less integrity to how they handle their own finances. The tens/hundreds of billions of dollars spent and to be spent on the black hole bullet train fiasco, is the largest embezzlement scheme any corrupt government has perpetuated against it's tax base! Every dollar should have been invested in increasing water storage capabilities and freshwater conversion technologies. And real solutions for affordable housing that doesn't eat up more than a third of one's income, just to keep a modest roof over individuals or families heads. This should've begun years ago and nearing completion across the board.
